Strange quake behavior: Millions of fish swamp Acapulco beach

March 13, 2011ACAPULCO – Some experts believe the phenomenon is directly related to the Japanese tsunami. The shores of Acapulco’s beaches were this weekend teeming with masses of fish packed so tightly they looked like an oil slick from above. Thousands of sardines, anchovies, stripped bass and mackerel surged along the coast of the Mexican resort in an event believed to be linked to the devastating Japanese tsunami. Delighted fishermen rushed out in wooden motor boats, abandoning their rods and nets and simply scooping the fish up with buckets. The fishermen attributed the strange phenomenon to the unusual currents unleashed by tsunami that followed the earthquake in Japan. –Daily Mail
Was the Redondo Beach marina swamping our first omen of the 8.9 Japanese ocean quake?

Very interesting that in both places, it was same kinds of fish. It’s as if the fish were trying to get away from the tsunami.

    Hi Alvin,

Just want to let you know I got your book & think it is an AMAZING piece of work!

Watching how Japan is being hammered with earthquakes & how the seismographs are black around the world, really brings this Earth upheaval home to me.

I am struck by the low fatalities thus far…I wonder if Mother Earth is showing us great mercy or if it is just that we are still in the early stages.

Either way, this is it…we are definitely on our way now!

Much love to you & your family,
    MP

    Alvin,
I have a question for you in regards to the frequency of quakes and other earth changes taking place now. I read where someone said that quakes are not on the increase, but instead we have become such a technology based civilization that we have internet and news to tell us of these things. Is that true? Or are these quakes and earth changes really getting more severe?

    • That’s why science will miss the diagnosis of what’s happening to the planet because they are trying to quantify events with facts that are essentially irrelevant. If you go to the doctor and tell him you are ill. He or she is going to first ask you when did you start first feeling symptoms? In 111 years (1900 to 2011), if I told you 5 out of the 10 most powerful earthquakes to strike the earth happened in the last 7 years—–would you say the planet is sicker now or it was sicker when 5 quakes sporadically span over a period of 104 years? See: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/world/10_largest_world.php

And when you add the recent 9.0 Honshu, Japan quake into the above data set —– you begin to see the magnitude of the problem. It’s important that you guys arrive at this assessment on your own conclusion and now based on the data placebo swirling around in USGS numbers.

I couldn’t agree with Alvin more on this.

It’s called common sense. Don’t doubt yourselves. Believe in what your instincts/gut is telling you. I mean seriously, its not like the internet was delivered to our fingertips yesterday. This “new age of technology” has been with us now for well over a decade. Actually over two decades. However, the “majority” of people using it in their own homes has grown exponentially in the last decade.

Again, use common sense. Trust your instincts. Your insintcts will never lead you into the wrong direction.

Just wanted to say I agree with both Alvin and Laura. It doesn’t take a genious to see something major is on the horizon. Just takes doing your homework and using so common sense. By the way, I appreciate all the work that goes into keeping us up to date on this site.

I only stumbled on this website today and i am glad i did , i knew the world would come to some massive destruction , was kind of hoping i would not see it in my life time .

I live in Australia – Queensland – Ravenshoe and i felt the tremor when the earthquake hit Innisfail , very scary to think that there will be more of it and frequently , i was considering moving to the coast in the next coupe of months but after the reading i have done i am seriously considering staying up here in the table lands .

To sum it all up – simplified of course , what do you think or should i say what you know will happen in 2011 and what chance does Australia have .

    • Glad you found us, Jasman…and I foresee nothing on the horizon looking at present data about Australia. Quakes are a reality we have to live with but Australia is by no means a high-risk seismic zone unlike some regions of the world where people like under the omen of a potential quake every day. Stay connected and thanks for checking us out.
