Sweltering U.S. heat wave claims 30 lives

It’s one thing to read The Extinction Protocol.
It’s something else to see it unfolding in front of your eyes.
In some parts of the world people are dying from flood. In others they are dying of drought.
Broken records are becoming part of the norm.
Crop production looks extremely vunerable this year.

It is surreal watching it unfold and when the growing seasons start disappearing; we’re in trouble.

They already have, Alvin. I’ve seen them accelerate over the past year and have noticed that even the trees seem confused as to when they are to be setting fruit or shedding their leaves. The weeds are even ahead of schedule. If it is too hot or too cold, things will not grow eventually. We are losing the important *middle ground* for lack of a better term. Before too much longer the atheists are going to have to come to terms with the fact that if you strip a lot of the excess fabric and language barriers away from the Bible, it is telling you the truth. No offense to any atheists here meant. I am not a Christian, but I know God exists.

We are living the Day After tomorrow. Record never in history heat here across the entire United States, record never in history wet summer in Britain….our world climate has change very much these past several years & it is getting worse quickly & as each day passes

We definitely are living in unprecedented times and for many, 2012 was the end of the world with massive natural disasters- though many of these processes are just gearing up in earnest.

I agree with Elizabeth. They already have. A few years ago, I was getting peaches and other fruits from my trees. But the last few years, none. The weather have been totally freaky– alternating between warm and cold rapidly, confusing the trees and plants. They bloom early, and then a cold snap comes along and kill them. Then the summers come early without transition through spring, with the heat and no rain. The bugs multiply because of the mild winter, and eat everything. This year, back in March, we had a warm spell between the cold snaps. I was examining my trees and found tent caterpillars– they were almost full grown already and it was very early in the year. I thought it was odd because they usually don’t mature that rapidly. We can surely expect food production to fall, and the food prices to increase soon, with all those weather changes. We are certainly experiencing a climate shift, but people are looking at the wrong reasons– all the carbon dioxide we put out into the air does not really have that much effect. There are many other factors at play– it is sad that people have turned this into a political tool for control.

Yep, Enoch warned of this exact thing happening in the last days.

When asked in an interview for an explanation of the extended power outages in Virginia from the recent “super derecho” storms, the head of Dominion Power said, “mother nature is very angry right now”. I was floored by that response! For those who believe the Earth is a living Gaia, he’s probably right, but that was the most non-technical response someone in his position to have provided. Hopefully he elaborated and eventually gave a better answer, but of course the news clip didn’t report it (if he did).

I live in GA not far from Chattanooga, TN and surrounding areas. Hamilton County was hit by really high winds mid last week and it took the EPB until today to get all the power restored and it was only 20,000 without. I was thinking it was really odd for them to be so slow about it. Back in the Spring when a tornado came through the same county lots more were without power and they had it back up in about two days for everyone. Also, don’t know if in the article you were talking about the 2 little boys ages 3 and 5 that died from this heat wave last week. I think they are in Cleveland, TN about 30 min. from me so it is local news viewing area for me. So sad. They had been outside playing on a slip and slide for about 45 min and died of hyperthermia, they were brothers.

Hello Alvin, since much of the US of A is infested with high extreme temperatures and we in the UK and parts of Northern Europe are getting some of the worst weather for many decades,if not ever since records began. Is there in your esteemed opinion that there might be a link between these weather systems. In 1976 we had four months of extreme heat and 90f every and that until now is unprecended. Not in the old UK.Consistant high pressure is virtually unknown in the British Isles and especially for four whole months.Your comments relating to the jet stream pulling back as far as Canada is quite spooky. How and what might cause this shift in such a way as this.
Best wishes from the UK and a real English summer.

The deviation or excursion of the planet’s magnetic field: the one thing scientists have told everyone in the world, ‘these things are normal and there is absolutely nothing to worry about.’ This was despite the fact that when they allege the last one occurred, the Brunhes–Matuyama reversal they say 780,000 years ago, no one was around to witness it. Well, there are geological changes they occur within the planet that are associated with these events and that is the subject that has been of interest to me and was one of the reason I wrote book The 7th Protocol.

With all due respect, Alvin, there COULD HAVE BEEN someone around back then. We just don’t have the empirical evidence to support it at this time. Just sayin’…there are many legends and theories of previous Earth civilizations not yet discovered. Witness the reports of underwater cities discovered recently off the coast of Great Britain.
In any case, thank you for all you do and I am grateful for the work you are doing to keep us informed. These changes are exhilarating to witness, albeit frightening at times. Hopefully we will come out on the other side to a better future.

I agree, Tonic – when one system begins to fail, the others are impacted. It’s a delicate balance, which I believe is crumbling. I’m so grateful for Christ to cling to in these unsettling times and for EP as a reliable source of news that can’t be found anywhere else.

It’s been brutal here in Ohio. Heat indexes well over 100 F. We’re more used to dealing with brutal cold than heat. I was very worried that my 90-year-old mother would be one of the casualties since our house doesn’t have air conditioning. But our neighbor let us use his portable air conditioner so she is doing fine now. The one thing this has taught me that, although we are prepared to deal with cold, we are not prepared to deal with heat in case of power failure. Something to think about.
Praying now for relief and some rain. Food prices will definitely skyrocket with this drought.

Cool summer means warm winter. Hot summer means cold winter. Super hot summer? Super cold winter. I noticed over the past 25 years that one can determine what the winter will be like from the summer. Plus, acorns are already out. Early acorns are a sign of a nasty winter. Get ready for it.

We have been until today pretty much cool in Oregon. Yesterday was the first hot day, got into the 90’s. Today is gonna be in the hundreds. The weather forecasters are all thrown off around here, they don’t seem to know whats coming or going. As far as a seven day forecast…forget about it.

Hi Alvin. been following your site for awhile now..Awesome job..In any of your calculations, does there compute what events are taking place with the weather? I see a pattern forming and its got me to thinking..I see a pattern of a global shift, as the jet stream has moved, where i live in Norway has a much cooler summer than normal..been this way now for 3 years, but this year its been even more different, with a winter that saw barely any snow compaired to the norm..Now its raining alot..I see the heat wave in the United States as one example, the extreme weather around the world, flooding and drout, makes you wonder what is really taking place..Global warming is warming up certain areas while making others colder..As the ice melts in the north, there is a larger amount of fresh water in the oceans which in turn affects the current, cycles, and weather..what is your opinion on this Alvin?

The best way to describe this is, planetary processes are in disarray because of what’s taking place within the Earth. Everything will continue to breakdown because every process on Earth, in some form or another, involves the exchange of energy. The planet cannot properly regulate its thermal cycle under such chaotic conditions; so everything moves towards the spectrum of increasing disorder until extinction level events began occurring involving planetary geological upheaval. This has been the pattern of every geological extinction that has said to have occurred in the past and will be the template for the future. What we’re witnessing right now, as Earthchanges, is planetary systems spinning towards chaos. What will follow will be large-scale catastrophic events noted for massive releases of energy.

How does anyone know they all will intensify to the point of Extinction Level Events? Maybe they will continue for sometime, intensify some more & then reside into a new balance & harmony. Maybe it is not so doom & gloom but a rocky road that’s pathing a new way on the horizon.

One knows because one studies the hallmark characteristics of the past 5 extinctions and finds the common threads running through all of them and writes a book about it. Deductive reasoning tells us if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck; chances are, it’s a duck. Whether I’m right or wrong is not even an issue at this point- what is more a fact of focus is that thousands will continue to die from these extreme events and millions will be displaced as the planetary ecology unravels.

Alvin: And the big question…. WHEN? When will we see these catastrophic events that can no longer be ignored?
Days? Weeks? Months? ….Years?

We don’t know the exact degree of change because we’re not peering inside the Earth; we’re only witnessing the symptoms of progression. The fact that we now have global visible manifestation of change is significant. It means we’re well beyond the halfway point and this process is now both irreversible and will begin collapsing exponentially with time. Having studied the pioneering work of Nobel Laureate and chemist Ilya Prigogine and Edward Lorenz extensively as I have, one knows about indeterminism when it comes to monitoring disorder in systems regarding chaos theory. The next few months should be interesting; the next few years will be quite dramatic. All the time, this change is building towards a catastrophic breakdown-recycling singularity of the planet’s energy systems- climate, seismicity (tectonic dynamism and orogeny), magnetic field, and volcanism.

Where I live, I am surrounded by grain crops. They look extremely healthy today. If the rain and wind stopped now, then a bumper year is in store for the farmers here.
The problem is that there is zero signs of the weather changing. This will lead to lodging. (crops falling over) And a massive drop in production for the farmer. And us.

Alvin, would a global revival of repentance, turning back to God slow this process, or has our sovereign God seen and had enough?

Jonah warns the Assyrian city of Nineveh that it will be destroyed in 40 days
I think God, being a character of love and mercy, would always respond to that. Nineveh is an example. God told Jonah, “Arise, go to Nineveh that great city and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.” Jonah 1:1. Ninevites were pagan Assyrians and Jonah felt no pressing need to go carry a message to a nation of idolaters who were not Hebrews; yet God sent a message of warning about the breach of morality the city had crossed and the impending judgment which was to follow. Much to Jonah’s surpise, the entire city of Nineveh repented in sackcloth and ashes when they heard Jonah’s message and impending doom was averted. A father wants only what’s best for his children and God takes intimate interest in the affairs of men, whether they know and call on Him by name or not.
Change, however, must come from the heart and cannot be done by ecclesiastical edicts, pomp, or decrees.

Awesome EP,
Jeremiah was also put in this position regarding Judah. Ezekiel as well! The Old Testament prophets were a lot like us. They werent perfect, but gained strength from Jesus.
Jeremiah’s Warning to Zedekiah
1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnez’zar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, 2 Kgs. 25.1-11 · 2 Chr. 36.17-21 and against all the cities thereof, saying,
2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedeki’ah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
3 and thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedeki’ah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword;
5 but thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odors for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
6 ¶ Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedeki’ah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
7 when the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Aze’kah: for these defensed cities remained of the cities of Judah.

I have to disagree with Gail as well. I live in Michigan and while the old saying of “a hot summer means a cold winter” use to be true but it isn’t antmore. We’ve seen 2 extremely hot summers and 2 mild winters in the last few yrs. Michigan isn’t no stranger to occasional stretchs of 90 degree weather but it’s going on for weeks at a time now with no relief. The drought is also a big concern here in regards to the corn crop. A farmer here travaled to Northern Ohio a week or so ago (First wk of July) and said they had already lost 50% of their crops and without some sustained rain (not the torrential downpours for 15 minutes) they would lose it all I another week. We were going to lose ours in the next 2 weeks. I happpened to catch a picture of one of those Derecho storm clouds. I didn’t know what it was until I saw the story on EP here the next day with the picture. As soon as it passed the winds kicked up to at least 70 miles an hr and was driving the rain horizontally. I’ve never seen anything like it. That was the same storm system that did all the damage in D.C and other states that day. I think these are a vision of things to come. Crazy weather the meterologists can’t even begin to predict. It is very scary to see what’s happening all over the planet but I take great comfort in prayer and knowing I’m not clueless like so many people are. Thank God for this site and Thank God for you Alvin and all your tireless hours of work keeping us informed.
