Gaint bubbles appear off the coast of El Hierro

October 16, 2011CANARY ISLANDSVillagers are mentioning “bubbles” coming up in the spotted area in the sea. We expect to receive detailed images from the bubbles as the many camera teams with their superior equipment will certainly be able to shoot detailed video from an event which can be seen by the naked eye. Ramon Ortiz, a technician from the CSIC (Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) is predicting that a new island is being formed at this moment and that the chance that it will happen now is evaluated as very probable, at least of the eruption process will continue a little longer. The Earthquake Report

  1. That would be similar to Hawaii, where a new island is also being formed by underwater eruption, but I don’t recall Hawaii having ongoing earthquakes in the process. Hawaii IS erupting, on land already formed, as we all observe in the news. Doesn’t sound too dangerous unless there is the
    landslide causing tsunami.

Thank you Alvin and Luisport for posting this! This is exciting and fascinating to watch a new landmass rising from the sea! How amazing are the times we live in! I am sorry to be so ignorant, but when were the last new islands formed anywhere? What does it mean for the surrounding islands? Will they be safe or wil the displacement of water affect them? Thank you for your answer and may the Creator hold you safe in the palms of His hands!

I sincerely doubt any new islands are being formed when there is obviously signs of great turmoil happening under the seas/oceans. It looks to me, there is indeed, every sign that the crust of the earth is breaking apart and the ‘bubbles’ are caused by methane gas that is flowing from the core of the earth. In any case.. this has been prophesied, and is happening before our eyes. Nothing will stop this destruction of evil that mankind has inflicted upon an innocent earth. Let the tribulation begin.

Think this el hierro thing has caused a lot of people to worry too much, there is a lot of talk of great tsunamis hitting the coast of US and southern UK.. this is a small possibility but ;lets not forget how these islands are formed in the first place by mantles splitting and magma escaping, that’s how el hierro was formed. there is nothing to say that this will continue to leak for weeks or months on end and reduce the overall pressure resulting in a new island, natures giving birth to potentially a wondrous new place to live and visit, I think a lot of scaremongering has led to misinformation and worry. Those we have loved and lost will protect us.

From what I can tell and the information that I have seen. At least two more vents have opened up on the from what I can gather on the pictures and the reports from Canary Islands. So far all the new vents are under the ocean and at depth of no less then 150 meters. So seeing them directly is quite hard for the moment. There are continues deep earthquakes under El Hierro volcano, but that suggests that new magma is flowing into El Hierro volcano.

During the weekend floating magma bombs where (or some type of magma, I do not have the exact word for it in English at the moment) floating on the ocean. But this means that at least one of the vents that started erupting in the beginning is getting close to break the surface of the ocean. If the eruption continues in that vent for a little while longer. If it gets above the surface of the ocean, it is going to form a island and a lava eruption is going to start once the ocean cannot get any more into the crater.

There is a risk of new fissures in El Hierro opening up without warning. From what I am estimating, the area that this can happen has expanded about ~5 km or so from my original estimate that I made in few blog posts ago. The risk of new fissure opening up on land is going to remain high while this eruption is taking place. But this might well be a period of eruption activity for El Hierro. It is impossible to know for how long it is going to last, it could be weeks or it could be months and up to years of activity.

Scientists are convinced that the El Hierro volcano has a bigger magma chamber than the La Palma volcano (1971 La Palma eruption). The La Palma eruption went on for 24 days and released approx. 40 million cubic meters of magma. Scientist have now calculated that the amount of magma beneath the volcano should be probably (nobody is 100% sure of course as these calculations are theoretical) 50 millions cubic meters. The basis of their calculations is the deformation of the island related to the time. http://earthquake-report.com/2011/09/25/el-hierro-canary-islands-spain-volcanic-risk-alert-increased-to-yellow/

It’s entirely possible that once this eruption breaches the sea surface we could be looking at a volcano of rapidly increasing magnitude. Why? Because once it breaks the surface, there will be much less cooling by seawater, therefore much less restriction of upwelling lava.

Hawaii, for instance is similar to the Canary Islands chain. Nowadays the volcanically active area in Hawaii is on the main island, and it is the largest and youngest one in the chain. The chain is formed as the tectonic plate is gradually pushed over the Hot Spot. Hawaii’s Islands become smaller as one moves down the chain to the older islands. They are smaller because of erosion.
THIS, is Geologic Time. Not today or yesterday or tomorrow, but millions of years to develop, grow, and be carved away by the forces of nature. Pretty exciting stuff actually.

Special report: Update 5 on El Hierro eruption, Canary Islands, Spain
Posted on October 19, 2011 by Jón Frímann
This is a special report on the eruption in El Hierro, Canary Islands, Spain.
    ***

From the harmonic tremor data during the current eruption in El Hierro. It seems that the eruption has dropped in strength during the past 48 hours or so. But that most likely means that the current eruption crater is closing up. But this does not mean that the eruption is over, as new fissures might open up without any warning close the El Hierro Island or on the island it self. It is impossible to know that for sure at this moment. As it currently stands it is unlikely that a new Island is going to form offshore of El Hierro island, as the current eruption crater does not seem to have the energy to break the surface of the ocean. Earthquake activity in El Hierro volcano remains about the same as it has since the eruption did start on 10 October, 2011.
For the moment, the only thing that can be done is to wait and see what happens next. But it is clear that the eruption in El Hierro is far from over from the data that I have seen so far. But this eruption might pause for days to weeks, as that is not uncommon thing for a volcano to do during a active eruption cycle.

Given the effects of the volcano currently; does this still match with the expected disasters of 2012 or extinction protocol? Does this serve as a warning of any kind? Because for whatever reason this is giving me a bad feeling; maybe it’s nothing; but could my worry be warranted?

    • It is an escalation of activity no doubt. I, however, have never stated the world was going to end in 2012 or any other date…this is geological process that is building towards a global upheavel. If this process continues, catastrophic events will pose grave threats to life forms across the spectrum. Just 5 years ago, what’s happening with El Hierro was unthinkable including the volcanoes, across the globe, which have awakened after hundreds of years of dormancy- including the recent unrest in Iceland along with major earthquakes in Chile, Haiti and Japan. When one considers the extreme weather events, it heightens the tension even more of anticipated changes…I think we should wait and see what develops with El Hierro.

Ext. Protocol.. please excuse me as I veer away from the main subject, but I must comment on your intelligence, kindness, demeaner, your attitude, your very inner ‘being’. I have lived a long time…. so many lifetimes within one body, that I feel I must comment on you….your posts. You excude a calm spirit and I am very impressed with your lack of ‘self ego’.. something this world has enough of. I am pushing 70 earth years, and have been secluded for the past 8 years.. going only to the market to buy food for the week, and to the gas station for my monthly gallon of petrol. I have only recently found you and your wonderful information, and it brings me many hours of worthwhile reading material. I have looked for you for a very long time. I have no one left on this earth, and being alone has given me the most wonderful times of being with my Creator, God of all. Each day I wake I am mystified that I am still on this earth. You see, from a very early age I have expected to be taken ‘home’ as I found this earth to be harsh for those who are in love with God. But time has gone on, and I have also found my way to the precipice we all now find ourselves on.. it seems one more step and we will either fall over the brink, or Gods Hand will reach down and take His beloveds back to Himself where it is at peace with love surrounding all molecules. I work with Quantum Physics, a true gift from God {distance healing} and it has this uncanny ability to retard my aging process, not only physically, but mentally. I mention this only because I have great respect for what God has done for me, not only to have great faith in His ability to be the Omnicient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent Everything .. but to help others, perhaps on this site, to help them understand we have nothing at all to fear when we love Him. He is all there is. All we need. He loves us. He has taken us on our journeys through life and He will take us all the way home.
There are many ways/words that I feel would describe you, my young friend, and I hope that you too, will be proud to call me a friend of yours.. I sign off now, but I remain……. faithful.
