6.1 magnitude earthquake strikes Vanuatu

September 4, 2011 – VANUATU – A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Vanuatu at a depth of 59.4 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was 73 km (45 miles) NW of Isangel, Tanna, Vanuatu and was 1848 km (1148 miles) ENE of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The 6.1 magnitude earthquake was preceded by a more powerful 7.0 which shook the region hours before. No tsunami warnings were issued with the latest quake. This is the fifth major earthquake to strike the world so far in the first four days of the month of September. –The Extinction Protocol.

    As fascinating as they are, it’s almost as though these seismic events are becoming the norm. I’m almost getting used to seeing several a week (or day). It’s like saying, “Oh, another 5 or 6 magnitude quake. *yawn* What else is happening?” Same with volcanoes . . . I guess until we get rattled again here in the U.S., it won’t register with us just how much we are already being affected. We don’t even realize we’ve may have reached the tipping point where we will wake up one day in a world we don’t recognize. Could it happen that quickly? Answer: Yes, if you are in Japan, New Zealand, and the other places that have actually been directly hit. Our time is coming too, I believe . . .

    I’ve ordered the Extinction Protocol book and am looking forward to reading it and (sort of) dreading it at the same time. If nothing else, it will help further explain what’s going on and maybe give me answers that I can give others when the questions start coming. Kind of like reading the Book of Revelation and knowing how it ends (Yea!), but having the fear of being here and living through it.

      They are becoming the norm but the danger of the “new normal” is complacency and indifference as you mentioned. The book promises to be an interesting read and should be a suitable companion guide for you to watch the changes now and in the future unfold. I have no doubt God is ultimate control and we have a spiritual pathway throught the fire, paid for by the sacrifice of Christ, to a new Earth. Ever be consoled by this reality as you traverse the pages in the midst of an escalating series of events.     The Ring of Fire is definitely in an active stage. Have you heard of any shaking or damage on the islands? It appears that it was far enough away to be a threat to people.
