It doesn’t surprise me. We go in, make a mess, and then leave them to clean the mess up. One cannot appreciate and manage democracy if one doesn’t really understand what it is.

The plan seems to be to destabilize all the countries in the region and quietly harvest the resources as the locals feud & fight. Installed governments are just “talking care of business…everyday…

Unraveling……….? I agree onthemark55…….A house that is divided will not stand and that is what Isalm is. There are those who spoke out and reported that unless a significant number of US troops remained in Iraq, the country would fall apart. Furthermore there were comments made that the Bush Administration made an agreement with certain factions within the country that until US troops left, they would not strike US Forces.
What is happening now in Iraq is not a surprise. People with experience in this matter would say ,”I told you so”.

NOW! A MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM! HOW DOES THE GOVERMENT EXPLAIN THIS TO ALL THE TROOPS AND CIVILIANS WHO ARE WOUNDED FOR LIFE, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE ONE’S WHO DIED……..AND IT SEEMS RIGHT NOW, FOR NOTHING………..

Amen Brother! p.s. I agree with your assesment of who/where our greatest internal threat is comming from. Sadly, I don’t see any solutions on the horizon. Where have all the leaders gone? Nothing but hate mongering, keeping the “huddled masses” divided and at each others throats!
