This is very serious. If anything, it suggests a determination to go the distance if need be, that is, nuclear World War III. God help us all!

What an insane world we are living in…how about those of us that just want peace and quiet and goodwill..makes me sad inside….

@Wendy – unfortunately, those of us who just want to live in peace, quiet, and goodwill are not in power. Those who are in power have a god complex and feel they know better than everyone else.

All of this brings back memories of the Cold War and the fears that were rampant. The main difference is, our media is keeping the masses tranqualized with stories of their favorite reality stars and/or sports teams. Fluff news always get the bigger ratings it seems. If more people would get their heads out of the sand, maybe – just maybe – we could get something done. (Yes, I’m dreaming again.)

When war does come, the masses will be unprepared and panic will come. They will ask “What happened?”. Those of us who do realize what is going on need to keep warning everyone else. We won’t be able to stop it, but at least we will have seen it coming.

In my opinion, The Russians are signaling that they are concerned with advanced western military weapons near their territory and are saying that if you continue, there could be a response. It is like the West is trying to hem them in. Also, sounds a little like Iran in the past week.
