6.4 magnitude earthquake shakes region of Tonga

September 23, 2011 – SOUTH PACIFIC – A shallow 6.4 magnitude earthquake (9.8 km – 6.1 miles deep) has shaken the South Pacific volcanic arc region of Tonga. The epicenter of the earthquake was 388 km (241 miles) NNW (340°) from Neiafu, Tonga and 2744 km (1705 miles) W (271°) from PAPEETE, Tahiti, French Polynesia. The Tonga earthquake is the 18th major earthquake to strike the globe in the month of September. –The Extinction Protocol

    I can’t shake this feeling were real close to something now Alvin, a busting forth of the sub structure of the planet, one of these plumes into the hot spots is gonna go, and soon

      The planet is certainly becoming more animated geologically and since it appears to be our inherent nature to think we’ve evolved beyond our primeval history as a modern society- what was past is prologue and relegated to little more than fairy tales but technology is not evolution. Machines are progressing while most of mankind remains entrenched in the mindset of hate, destroy and obliterate. We are no doubt approaching a singularity in timespace with changes in the material world, technology, spiritual unction, the space environment and civilization. It’s comforting to see so many wonderful people have stepped into the panorama.

        And now, Cern announcing the strong probablility (no quantum pun intended), that the speed of light can be bested. I personally have always held that the speed of thought is faster than light (one example). I see this as a pardigm shifting moment.

    Due to a shallow 6.5 (6.1) quake last night near volcano Niuafo’ou, the northernmost island in Tonga, some are wondering about volcanic activity.

    Before I found the EP site, I like many of you, receive emails of EQ alerts from the USGS.
    The most frequent notifications just said “tonga” and of course the nearest city/country/landmarks. All the time. I finally Googled Tonga—offically the kingdom of Tonga-is a state and an archipelago in the south pacific comprising over 176 islands and 700,000 squared kilometers.
    There, now I know what “TONGA IS”. A whole lot of shaking on on in Tonga.

    Wow. September isn’t even over yet and this is the 18th already. Alvin, since I know you probally have all the statisics, can you tell me how many major Earthquakes that we’ve had this year so far? I know it has to be off the charts from any other year and it just boggles my mind how people can’t see what’s coming. Many thanks and Blessings in Christ.
