UN study shows AIDS infection rates continue at about 7,000 daily

June 5, 2011NEW YORK – About 7,000 people are being infected with AIDS each day and about half of the 34 million people with HIV do not know they have it, according to a UN report released to mark the disease’s 30th anniversary. The UNAIDS agency said more money, less waste and smarter programs are urgently needed to consolidate gains made in the war on AIDS and HIV. But UNAIDS said that about 34 million people were living with HIV at the end of 2010 and that nearly 30 million people have died from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or AIDS, in the past three decades. The rate of new infections of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) that causes AIDS has declined. But the UN agency said “the total number of HIV infections remains high at about 7,000 per day.” UNAIDS also estimates that about half of those with HIV do not know they are sufferers. “It is a major problem, it is a major, major issue,” said Michel Sidibe, the executive director of UNAIDS at the launch of the “AIDS at 30: Nations at the Crossroads” report. –Terra Daily

AIDS was actually developed by the government. If you don’t believe me, go look it up.

I am inclined to agree with you and it is not only your government that is implicated – it is a worldwide madness and most governments are equally culpable including the UN. I wonder how many of those infected were participants in those bogus HIV vaccine clinical trials carried out in countries like Puerto Rico, India, China and African nations? The last clinical trial I read about (thousands of participants worldwide) put participants at risk for HIV infections and had to be discontnued. If there was a law that prevented vaccine companies from giving financial inducements to participants of clinical trials, I bet these numbers would be far less.
Have you read Edward Hooper’s book The River?

First man ‘functionally cured’ of HIV, Timothy Ray Brown suffered from both leukemia and HIV when he received a bone marrow stem cell transplant in Berlin, Germany in 2007. The transplant came from a man who was immune to HIV, which scientists say about 1 percent of Caucasians are. (According to San Francisco’s CBS affiliate, the trait may be passed down from ancestors who became immune to the plague centuries ago. This Wired story says it was more likely passed down from people who became immune to a smallpox-like disease.)

What happened next has stunned the dozens of scientists who are closely monitoring Brown: His HIV went away.

I remember reading an article about huge pharma companies around the world trying to get Africa to commit a huge portion of it’s budget to buying drugs to fight anything and everything that comes under the Aids umbrella when the majority had dissentry and needed clean water!! The rich get richer the poor get sicker…. But looks like this may change soon! Sad that it is so often forgotten that we are One People that we were meant to care for one another and the good off all….our souls are all connected but not our hearts…we have never held hands like we should of.
