Peculiar geese deaths baffle wildlife officials in Wisconsin

February 18, 2011MADISON, WS – Several dozen Canada geese along western Lake Erie’s shoreline have recently died or are presumed dead while others have become so sick they cannot hold up their heads, fly, or maintain control of their motor functions. State wildlife investigators are stumped, awaiting word on tests that a national wildlife laboratory in Wisconsin has been doing on some of the dead birds. “They will fall out of the sky and have trouble staying upright,” said Dave Sherman, a biologist at the Crane Creek Wildlife Research Station the Ohio Department of Natural Resources operates in Ottawa County. Symptoms began manifesting themselves first with mallards about two or three weeks ago. “Now, it’s mostly geese we’re seeing,” he said. The bulk of the problem appears to be in the Oregon area, Mr. Sherman said, in the vicinity of open water near FirstEnergy Corp.’s coal-fired Bay Shore power plant, where birds typically congregate this time of year. He said he has been getting about a dozen calls a day from area residents reporting new sightings or seeking answers about birds they’ve seen. “They’re throwing their heads back. They’re losing all balance and literally almost all back-somersault and have a seizure,” according to Laura Zitzelberger, operations director at Nature’s Nursery. At least eight or nine of about a dozen geese that were brought to Nature’s Nursery either died or had to be euthanized. –Toledo Blade

dropping from the sky, losing balance, throwing their heads back into a somersault and seizing” are classic manifestations of poisoning.
I don’t understand why the obvious continues to be overlooked as winter weather suspends particulates that BP continues to generate (deoxygenating poisoning warmed waters, killing sealife)as well as full tilt deregulated new nat gas drilling poisons misted directly into the atmosphere in open ponds, Roundup (agent orange) to name a few.
All anyone has to do to see orange air from nw GOM is get on a plane then understand why you need that breathalizer.
This is not a mystery, this is direct cause and effect.

It sounds like poisoning, possibly lead poisoning.

Poisoning from Chemtrails could be the culprit…however my guess is the recent changes in our magnetosphere due to x-class solar flare. Birds are extremely susceptible to the earth’s magnetic field. That’s how they navigate…much like our planes. Unfortunately our magnetosphere is being bombarded with high levels of magnetic expulsions and radiation. This is heating up the earth and oceans….fish are susceptible to the same magnetics as well as the tempature of the ocean and or lakes…hence the many mass fish deaths. It does not bode well for us.

This neurological damage sounds very like lead poisoning. The peculiar head on the back positioning is specific to lead toxicity. It was observed in swans, geese and mallards in the UK along the Grand Union Canal in the 1980’s, especially several weeks after large fishing matches. Waterfowl who feed on lead weights from anglers’ tackle accumulate the weights in their crops, resulting in toxic lead levels over a period of time. Has this population of geese fed at a site where these lead weights might have been found? Geese tend to graze rather than bottom feed like swans, however, so lead weights are less likely than ground contamination. Is there an industrial source of lead leaching to shores along their migration route? (Project Vulcan plants in Quebec Province come to mind).

It also could be Newcastle’s disease, which would explain the extraordinarily large number of affected birds. That head positioning is also found in Newcastle’s.
