December 15, 2010 – “CITY OF MEXICO. – Arrival of Cold Front Number 14 and associated cold air in the morning is keeping temperatures very low and causing night frosts in the northern mesas, the central mesa and the western part of the country, as well as the northern part of the Gulf of Mexico, the National Meteorological Service has advised. It has alerted the states of Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Federal District, Durango, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Jalisco, Mexico, Michoacán, Morelos, Nuevo Leon, Oaxaca, Puebla, San Luis Potosi, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, and Zacatecas where temperatures could fall below five degrees Celsius.” It goes on to say that there will be cloudy, rainy weather with strong winds in the states of Campeche, Chiapas, Quintano Roo, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz and Yucatan. In other words, almost 80% of Mexico is going to be experiencing very cold not typically Mexican weather especially at night.” –Vanguardia
