Shallow 6.2 earthquake violently shakes sea-floor of Norwegian Sea

May 24, 2012 – ARCTIC CIRCLE - A strong 6.2 magnitude earthquake shook a region of the Norwegian Sea at a depth of 8.8 km (5.5 miles). The epicenter of the Arctic earthquake was 1078 km (670 miles) NW (307°) from Murmansk, Russia and 1468 km (912 miles) NE (36°) from Reykjavik, Iceland. This earthquake was very shallow and more Arctic earthquakes of this nature can be expected as the planet’s magnetic field weakens further and the migration of the magnetic north pole continues its race towards Siberia. –The Extinction Protocol

    I believe this is all happening, but I am double-minded. I can hardly believe this is really going to bring an end to the earth, or at least mankind on earth. People ridicule me at church for even mentioning the Last Days, say I should be “positive”. Aargh.

    TSUNAMI THAT COULD AFFECT COASTS LOCATED USUALLY NO MORE THAN A
    FEW HUNDRED KILOMETERS FROM THE EARTHQUAKE EPICENTER. AUTHORITIES
    IN THE REGION NEAR THE EPICENTER SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF THIS
    POSSIBILITY.

      From what I understand, an earthquake would have to be greater than 6 to cause a local tsunami, and a catastrophic tsunami would have to be at least a 7.5.

    how can they tell the magnetic field of the earth is weakening? i don’t have alot of understanding of these things.

      The clearest way to tell is that the lower Van Allen Radiation belt is getting closer to the Earth near a region called the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) near Brazil. This region is growing by an alarming rate and represents a hole in the planet’s magnetosphere where solar radiation can penetrate.

        Could there be other areas like this around the world.? I do not mean as strong as this, but at the begining stage. And how would a compass behave if you were in the middle of the SAA. Only curious if this could explain why birds etc, are getting lost. Thank you.

        I’m not aware of any compass anomalies in the SAA but yes there is one other region of the planet that could start experiencing something similar and that is off the SE coast of Australia.

      Earth’s magnetic north pole is racing toward Siberia Russia at almost 40 miles (64 kilometers) a year due to magnetic changes within the planet’s outer core. The magnetic South Pole is racing towards the SE coast of Australia.

        Thank you Alvin. Would this indicate that the two magnetic poles are actually getting closer to each other? IF they are I would not have a clue as to why or what would happen if they did get much closer. Thank you so much for keeping up with so many happenings swirling about this troubled planet.

        No, the magnetic field is dipole – they don’t get closer together.

    from what i can tell from Norsar, which shows the earthquakes for Northern Europe, there were 9 earthquakes within a 6 hour period rangeing from 1.66 to 4.19 in that area..

    These events are not helping the on going disaster at Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant. Japan minister visits nuke plant amid safety worry about plant’s No. 4 reactor- after its operator reported a bulging of the building’s wall.

    Amid everything going on I wonder what will be the worst yet I live where it seems generally calm but last night we had lighting in the finger lakes area that was massive for heat lighting like the earth was releasing major amounts of energy.

    Damn, I should had warned about this earthquake, I need to tell you and all other that I had a dream about a 6.5 magnitude earthquake in Norway, it was just a few days before this occured
    This is the first dream that really came true, I have had several dreams about catastrophes and moderate earthquakes. 2 days ago I had a new dream about an earthquake in Norway. and it was on 6.9 magnitude. I don’t know if that one can come true
