A dreaded superbug found for the first time in a U.S. woman

Superbug
May 2016HEALTH The United States’ first known case of a superbug that cannot be killed by a last resort-style kind of antibiotic was detailed in a report by the U.S. Department of Defense on Thursday. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Tom Frieden announced the case at the National Press Club in Washington.
A 49-year-old Pennsylvania woman showed the presence of a rare kind of E. coli infection that is resistant to antibiotics, even Colistin, which doctors sometimes use as a last resort when other antibiotics fail.
The woman went to a clinic in Pennsylvania, and a sample was forwarded to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Walter Reed found the bacteria in her urine. No other details were available, including how the woman became infected. She has not traveled outside the United States within the past five months.
The CDC and the Pennsylvania State Health Department mobilized immediately to investigate the case and to trace the contacts the patient may have had to see if the bacteria had spread. The CDC also said it is looking for other potential cases in the health care facility the patient visited. The bacteria have been identified in other infections outside the United States. Doctors saw cases in Europe, Canada and China.
One report suggests that this kind of infection can result in the deaths of half the patients who become infected. Antibiotic resistance has become a growing problem in this country. The World Health Organization has warned that it is one of the biggest threats to global health today. Frieden warned that although this is the first case in the United States, we should expect to see more such superbugs in the near future. Frieden, who often warns doctors against overuse of antibiotics, urged scientists to develop new drugs quickly.
Each year in the United States, at least 2 million people become infected with other kinds of bacteria that can’t be beaten with most antibiotics, and at least 23,000 people die each year as a result of those infections, according to the CDC. “The medicine cabinet is empty for some patients,” Frieden said. “It is the end of the road unless we act urgently.” –CNN

Have a question for you Alvin.
I too believe its the earths core heating up causing volcanoes and earthquakes to intensify. The eruptions all around the world, are causing weather changes and I know it will only get worse. My questions is…can the eruptions of these volcanoes also be causing the new virus and diseases that we experience now from times past. I remember Paul Tibbets talking about Flying into Greenland and there was a village of people that they were restricted to see because their immune systems would not be able to handle anything that new people might bring in. I think you need to get the point over that the earth is only 2 or 3 percent livable most of the time. My deceased husband was a geologist. Learned a lot from him. We were both impressed over your knowledge about earth that ties right into bible prophecy. Right now! It is happening right now.

Thank you, Glorygrectchen. Yes, the geologic effects of the core overheating or what we refer to as fluctuations in thermal gradient will only worsen over time.

The fundamental answer to your question is yes. Volcanoes don’t directly cause disease but they change the nature of the environment and ecosystems, which causes diseases to thrive. Remember the fundamental rule of biology.

Plants – adapt to changes in their environment to = live
Diseases – change the nature of their environment to adapt

This is why humans destructive mentality in regard to the environment has been referred to by the metaphor that “humans are a virus.”

  2. After the military finds the best way to kill it do you suppose they might want to release it?

No problem! Just a few nuclear bombs will end all super-bugs invasion….Before Obama rid all nuclear weapons from the face of the earth except Iran nuclear program for peaceful purposes. Or was it for cancer solving that they are in need of nuclear power capability? Well before the CDC take my advice they better put the super bug to the test against nuclear power reactor if it could kill it. Great threaten requires great solution!

Wait a minute… chemo radiation against cancer (isn’t this nuclear power?) what is the successful rate of people being cured from cancers after such drastic eradication attempt? Super Bugs will receive the Medal Award again. Super Bugs are such great sporters, They had given plenty of opportunities to scientists to zap them dead by now but instead they probably been making them stronger so if humanity should go extinct they will evolve into android take over the Earth. No need to go to Mars.

Thank you Alvin for answering my question. Just noticed this morning. It was like a three in one. I am a very deep thinker and most people can’t understand that. I look at the bigger picture as you do and what is coming down the road. On my birthday May 24 six volcanoes went active. From your scientific perspective is there any way that the volcanic ash that is blowing across the globe be responsible for some of these diseases? Please note blowing in the air across the globe. In other words things that have been contained for a long time. I also noticed that when I mentioned Paul Tibbets, people went nuclear. They need to realize that there were more people killed in fire fights then the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki, and it would have been worse considering the number of deaths. To them I say read your history people. There is always gonna be someone who wants to rule the world. And you are not going to like the coming ruler.

grenfal, you cant change the world. Wait until you have an abscessed tooth and they refuse the medicine because of identity theft. We are living in strange times.
