World on the Edge: Is something catastrophic about to happen?

May 2016 – SIGN OF THE TIMES – You don’t need a web-bot predictive analysis or a psychic reading to tell you that there’s an ominous chill in the air that something bad is about to happen – something large and just catastrophic enough in scope and magnitude to change life for all of us on this planet. Such an event could lead to potential nuclear exchange, a disruption of food supplies, an extreme climatic event, or a global outbreak of a pandemic disease. While nations are arming themselves to the teeth in preparation for a future potential conflict, Mother Nature also appears to be gearing up for an unholy rampage. Earthquake faults are stressed and long overdue for major activity, volcanoes are awakening, and supervolcanoes are inflating in alarming and record fashion. The era of peace, prosperity, and pacifism in human existence may be finally winding to an abrupt close and we may be about to enter some very troublesome times. Just look at all the warning signs and the subtle hints world leaders are dropping about the prospect of some type of apocalyptic event that appears to be camping out on our doorstep. –Alvin Conway

Remember Netanyahu’s 2010 prophetic warning about dark days coming. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu predicted rough waters ahead for Israel in a 2010 address. “Be prepared for difficult days,” he told a Likud faction meeting, in which he also announced the establishment of an inquiry committee to probe the IDF flotilla raid.

 “Dark forces from the Middle Ages are raging against us. I have received calls from concerned officials in the Balkans and Eastern Europe who are very worried about these developments.” Earlier, at the cabinet meeting, Netanyahu told ministers to expect “surprises,” even from Israel’s allies. However he said the committee would work in favor of Israel, and not against it. –Ynet News

What is Bill Clinton implying? During a recent campaign speech, Bill Clinton asserted that Hillary was better qualified to be president than him when he first ran “because of the trouble around the world. “The world’s in tough shape,” said Clinton. “And one of the things that could stop us from rising together is a crisis around the world. I want somebody there that doesn’t have to figure it out, I want somebody there that will instinctively know what to do,” he added.

Some will question Hillary’s proficiency in knowing “what to do” during a crisis given that she was Secretary of State during the attack on a United States outpost in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead. What Bill Clinton is referring to when he warns of a worldwide shock that will divide the planet is unknown, although other prominent voices are concerned about the migrant crisis leading to a new war. The global economy also continues to teeter precariously on the edge of another collapse with Brazil, Venezuela, Italy and even China looking like the next dominoes to fall.

While Clinton warns of an unspecified global “crisis,” many wealthy elitists are busy preparing for some kind of huge traumatic shock to the system. –Info Wars

Stressed Earthquake Faults: During an earthquake study conference in Long Beach, a local expert said California’s infamous San Andreas Fault is due for a massive quake. “The San Andreas fault is locked, loaded and ready to roll. The springs of that fault have been wound pretty tightly and the situation is there where we could have major earthquakes in California,” said Thomas Jordan, director of the Southern California Earthquake Center. –ABC 13

Asteroid Impacts: Close passages of asteroids to the Earth-Moon system occur frequently. The latest by a large asteroid, that of 2004 BL86, took place January 26, 2015, when this 300-meter space rock, a binary system, passed 1.2 million kilometers from Earth, about three times the distance between Earth and the Moon. According to physicist Mark Boslough of Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico, an asteroid the size of the Chelyabinsk impactor, around 20 meters across, passes within geosynchronous orbit every two years, and within the Moon’s orbit nearly once a week. A Tunguska-sized (40-meter) object passes within the lunar distance from Earth several times a year. –Astronomy

Global pandemic long overdue: Epidemiologists believe we’re statistically overdue for a global viral outbreak, which occurs every generation or so. Ebola, West Nile, and the Zika crisis are probably just a dress rehearsal: The next pandemic is most likely to emerge in a remote region of Asia or Africa, from contact between people and poultry, rats, bats, pigs, monkeys, or some other animal. If that virus can be spread through the air or by touch, the way the common cold is, it will sweep from village to city, and air travel will allow it to hop continents within hours. A vaccine will take at least months of frantic work to develop, and in the meantime, millions will die. “The three deadliest events in human history were all infectious diseases,” says medical historian David Morens: the Spanish flu, the Black Death (bubonic plague), and AIDS. “There are lots of reasons to think more will be coming.” –The Week
