Earth changes intensifying: Volcanoes across the globe go ballistic as 2016 arrives

Colima Volcano
February 2016MEXICO A volcano eruption in western Mexico has sent a spectacular plume of smoke and ash high into the air. Colima volcano is one of three that make up the Colima Volcanic Complex, near the west coast of Mexico. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the country and has erupted more than 40 times, including several times in the past few years. The volcano is permanently monitored by the University of Colima. –ABC
Kilauea VolcanoHawaii: (Jan 10, 2016) Nature’s fury was on full display as a rock fall in Hawaii cause an impressive explosion at Kilauea volcano. Volcano watchers recorded the massive explosion on Friday morning, when rocks splashed into the lake of lava at Halemaumau crater. These types of explosions are likely to occur when the lava lake level is relatively high, as it was on Friday, scientists say.
In fact, the lake was about 100 feet below the vent’s rim right before the blast. When the lava lake is high, scientists say rocks in the vent wall heat up, expand and then become unstable causing a big section of the rocks to collapse. Fortunately, the explosion does not pose a threat to any neighboring communities. Kileaua’s ongoing eruption began way back in January of 1983. –ABC 13

Mount EgonIndonesia: (Jan 19, 2016) More than 1,200 people were evacuated from their homes when a volcano in eastern Indonesia spews clouds of ash and toxic gas into the air on January 19, 2016. Officials said they had distributed thousands of gas masks to villagers around Mount Egon in eastern Flores Island as the choking fumes from the volcano intensified. All residents within three kilometers of the volcano were ordered to evacuate and roads were also closed.
The volcano began rumbling in December of 2015 but has become more active in recent months. During its last serious eruption in 2008, Mount Egon blasted smoke and volcanic material nearly six kilometers into the atmosphere. In January 2004, the volcano erupted, forcing 6,000 people to evacuate the area. Mount Egon is one of 129 active volcanoes in Indonesia, which sits on the Ring of Fire, a belt of seismic activity running around the basin of the Pacific Ocean. –ABC
San Miguel – El Salvador: A new phase of eruptive activity began at the volcano on January 11, 2016. Accompanied by a spike in volcanic tremor, weak to moderate ash emissions have been occurring from the main crater. This activity, the 22nd eruptive phase since Dec 2013 according to MARN, has been slowing waning since the eruption.
MomotomboNicaragua: A strong vulcanian explosion occurred January 12, 2016 at 12:10 local time at the volcano. An ash plume rose approximately 3 km from the summit and it generated a small pyroclastic flow.
Mount Makaturing Philippines:  (Jan 22, 2016) Authorities in Lanao del Sur are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the mountain forests of Butig town near Cagayan de oro City, in the Philippines on Thursday night, with the nearby Mount Makaturing volcano high on the suspect list. The magma mount is one of the most active in the Philippines and sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire.
The 1,940-metre peak is believed to have erupted 10 times in the past, and could be due another as the last on record was in March 1882. According to locals, heavy smoke enveloped the area near the town as well as Alamada in Wao town and the blaze appeared “lava-like,” as it glowed from the distance throughout Thursday night and into the early hours. –Express
Popocatepetl VolcanoMexico: (Jan 25, 2016) Ashes from the Popocatepetl volcano have rained down on the airport of the central Mexican city of Puebla, prompting authorities to temporarily shut down operations.
Four explosions and 39 low-intensity exhalations of ash were recorded between Sunday and Monday at the 5,452-metre volcano, according the National Disaster Prevention Centre. Puebla state civil protection department director Jesus Morales said airport operations would be closed for three hours so workers could remove ash from the runway.
The shutdown will not affect any flights as none are due to land during that time, he said. Popocatepetl, which is 55 kilometres south-east of Mexico City, had its last major eruption in 2000, forcing thousands of people to evacuate from surrounding towns. –ABC
Turrialba VolcanoCosta Rica: On Saturday afternoon, geologists at the Observatory on Volcanology and Seismology at the National University of Costa Rica (Spanish acronym: OVSICORI) reported a new eruption at the Turrialba Volcano, the most active colossus in our country. The volcanic event took place about ten minutes before 2:00 pm during a warm, yet extremely windy, afternoon. The seismographic sensors of the OVSICORI began stirring after 1:50 pm, at which time the scientists on duty activated their crater cameras to capture the eruption.
In the beginning, the eruption was mostly a slow emanation of volcanic ash and noxious gases. About ten minutes into the natural event, a more powerful ejection occurred and a solid plume formed about 500 meters into the air. Thanks to the crisp weather conditions and the clear-blue afternoon skies, the eruption on the western crater was visible from the summit of the nearby Irazu volcano.
Chemistry experts at the OVSICORI combined their observations with data from the Institute of Meteorology to provide a forecast of where the ash clouds were headed yesterday. To this effect, they used the AERMOD atmospheric dispersion modeling system to create a forecast that indicated a northwesterly direction high over Guapiles and passing over most of the Heredia province on municipal elections day. Some ash fell on the vegetation and crops of the massive Finca La Picada farm near the volcano. Elsewhere, a strong smell of sulfur was detected by neighbors in Concepcion de Heredia.
As previously reported by The Costa Rica Star, past activity from the Turrialba has disrupted daily life with school and airport closures as well as diminished farming operations; nonetheless, that does not seem to be the case at this time. –Costa Rica Star

been feeling a little lost without your updates, Mr. A… well, more than a little.
    glad you are back-

And yet, no one says or is saying anything about the Yellowstone Caldera, which is capable of and will take out the western 1/3 of the US, the ash-cloud will move with the jet-stream eastward to blanket the rest of the US, thus changing the climate for the entire globe…..this eruption would be equal to a nuclear winter…

    • Or worse. A large eruption would be pretty much game-over for a good portion of humanity.

More to come on Yellowstone in the near future

And if there is something going on, the govt is real good to keep everything quiet for some strange reason…..as if it were some kind of “TOP SECRET” “CLASSIFIED” subject that no one can know about….no one will be safe anywhere if this thing blows its cork……..I look forward to your report…

      • Foreknowledge of something potentially catastrophic is just not on the table for most governments, in terms of informing the citizenry of what omens are on the horizon. There are most concerned about their own survival at this stage – especially with the entire global financial system now hanging desperately by a hair and threatening to crash.

I know that my questions are off topic insofar as volcanos go, but out of sheer desperation on my part, I need to ask Alvin what his thoughts are regarding the ‘Zika’ virus? Such as, what’s up with another virus originating out of Africa yet again? Also, other then the nightmare of becoming infected with this virus while pregnant (which is bad enough) do you think the CDC may be downplaying the overall health threat of this virus? Or could their be other ‘problem-solution’ factors looming on the horizon? (See below links) And should the CDC create a vaccine for this virus, would you want to be first in line to receive it?

Alvin, in lieu of Oxitec Ltd, (a biotechnology company providing solutions for controlling insects that spread diseases) releasing their genetically modified Aedes mosquitoes (to combat Dengue fever) a little over a year ago in Brazil and Panama, do you think this may have a little something to do with the current outbreak? Hmmm, I wonder if Oxitec stocks are rising as well? (Phiffft)

    • I think the more people on the planet – the more reactive the habitat environment becomes to the increase number of hosts. Sometimes there is greater symbiosis and sometime the reaction to the intrusion is adverse – as in unleashing a virus to protect itself. Every time we encroach on a rainforest, we run the risk of unleashing a new potentially life-threatening pathogen that’s currently now in a type of environmental suspension or may still be incubating inside some unknown host reservoir. Ebola, Marburg, Lujo, and Zika may only be the tip of the iceberg. More unknown perils await us, even as antibiotic resistance to common microbial infections is growing. As the boundaries between humans and animals blur, the rate of disease transmission can be expected to rise. 60% of all diseases are zoonotic. There is always the danger of further mutations as viruses pass from host to host. We haven’t even discussed the new emerging threat from fatal fungal spores like Cryptococcus gattii. You can die from simply inhaling the spores.

You mentioned genetically-modified insects as being a risk factor to the virulent transmissibility of vector-borne diseases. I think that could definitely be a factor. When we think of Earthchanges and the speed of acceleration of events, we often forget this same accelerated change is also happening to microbes and deadly pathogens. They are evolving to survive – and in some cases, that means killing us off to do it.

That may be, but there have been reports that the CDC has patents on a number of contagious viruses, one of them is the Ebola virus……so their intent is an obvious one, especially when they have and carry such patents on deadly viruses….they’re puppets of the Oligarchs, the one’s with the money..

      • No doubt, mankind has well-schooled himself in many of the black arts.

See also Nostradamus – “During the time of troubles and WWWIII there will be massive naval, air, and land battles. The ultra-secret weapons that are brought forth will shock and stun the world. The Antichrist will not hesitate to use bacteriological warfare, as well as conventional warfare, causing hunger, fire and plagues. The causative organisms will be more virulent than ever before and, hence, increasingly lethal.

When the Antichrist is taking over Europe, nuclear weapons will wreak havoc like lightning strikes, and from them a “milky rain” will occur. Weapons currently beyond our imagination will wreak unparalleled devastation. Corpses will litter the landscape. The very earth will “cry out in pain.” The Antichrist will be so terrible, horrible, and powerful that the rightful rulers of countries will be utterly terrified and will not do anything to stop his ravages. Entire dynasties will be wiped out.”

Yes, welcome back Alvin. Would you think that the increase in volcanic activity is due to the solar minimum cycle we are suppose to be in where reports have been published that the largest eruptions occur or is it also a combination of events that is occurring under our feet that has not made its effect felt yet?

HAARP the weather weapon, earthquake weapon, capable of causing volcanoes to erupt and much more, Why are you silent on this subject?

    • I find these Earthchanges to be cyclical. According to geologists, the planet has had 5 extinction periods – minus any HAARP or nuclear threat. Most of these extinction processes were triggered by geological and astrological upheavals. Extinctions occur roughly about every 70 to 100 million years, and its been about 70 million years since the last event occurred. If you believe in a young Earth – the events occur about every 2,600 years. Either way, we’re in deep trouble. There is no question, after making a detailed scientific assessment on all incoming data and facts, I think the planet is ripe for another such event. At present, from a strictly dogmatic scientific empiricist view in my mind, this outweighs any and all other concerns – including the human stupidity factor to deploy and use scalar energy beams and weapons of mass destruction.

I am a big fan of you and I watched your website daily for years but stopped for a good few years between 2013-2015. I just began watching your site again after being increasingly concerned that something terrible is going on with our planet. I see you believe that this is cyclical and that we are in deep trouble. If you don’t mind, do you have a timetable for everything after doing deep research? How long do we have and when should we expect it to really hit the fan? Thanks

      • Thanks for your presence and support.

Each time the planet has been devastated in the past, it has sort of regenerated from the crisis and recovered from the precipice of a tragedy for life to flourish in the world once again. I’m not sure about the next time this happens. Even the Bible says: “Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.” Isaiah 24:6. Humans have to reclaim the Earth after an extinction-type event- and it’s basically survival of the fittest when this happens. Trouble is, most people are so distantly removed from the Earth; they have to check their computers just to know if it’s going to rain tomorrow. We cannot survive the hardships of nature being synched to machines. All prosperity has done for civilization since the industrial revolution is basically made humans obese, self-centered, lazy, less imaginative, more dependent on machines, and increased fecundity. Our bodies have been so traumatized by the industrial waste and chemicals we pump into the environment, our immune systems are nearly stressed to the breaking point. So the next tragedy will force an evolution in the human species under the most difficult and trying of circumstance. I anticipate only a minute fraction of humanity will survive the ensuing Age of Chaos.

I don’t believe the events are on a time clock. However, I do believe we are on a geological time-scale if you wish – which means things are more event-related than time-inspired. The Earth will become more and more agitated, as its gradient fluctuates and varying geological processes become more kinetic in an attempt to restore some type of thermal equilibrium. Massive earthquakes will occur and large volcanic systems, some now think to be in hibernation, will begin to stir will tragic consequences. We have not seen a large Tambora-type volcanic eruption is our lifetimes but that will soon change.

For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have neither peace, nor any quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.” –Job 3:25, 26

12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
