Dead comet with skull face to hurtle by Earth on Halloween

October 2015 SPACE Miami (AFP) – A massive space rock that will shave by Earth on Halloween looks like a dead comet with a skull face, NASA said after gaining a closer look at the spooky space object. Astronomers initially thought the object was an asteroid when they spotted it in early October, and named it Asteroid 2015 TB145. But using the US space agency’s Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on Mauna Kea, Hawaii, experts “have determined that the celestial object is more than likely a dead comet that has shed its volatiles after numerous passes around the sun,” NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory said in a statement late Friday.
Scientists have also spotted an eerie skull-like resemblance on the face of the rock, based on radar data from the National Science Foundation’s 305-meter (1,000-foot) Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. “In the Arecibo images it appears to have donned a skull costume for its Halloween flyby,” said Kelly Fast, IRTF program scientist at NASA and acting program manager for the US space agency’s Near-Earth Object Observations Program.
The space rock has already grabbed attention with its unusually high speed and big size, about as large as a football stadium at 2,000 feet (600 meters) in diameter. There is no danger of it hitting Earth, however. When it zips by Saturday at 1 pm (1700 GMT), it will do so at a distance of 302,000 miles (486,000 kilometers). That’s about 1.3 times the distance between the Earth and the Moon. –Yahoo News

Here’s another image of the Skull Comet seen through NASA’s Infrared Telescope Facility in Hawaii. Looks really spooky.

How convenient! 🙂 Some huge “god” out there is playing around with his slingshot. He he.

That’s a pretty boisterous remark and Not funny at all. We must thank the Creator that it didn’t hit the Earth or the Moon because either way we would have had huge problems. I don’t know about you but I have a good purpose in life and I don’t want to die in such disasters.

OK. no problem. Be at peace & have a nice day.

It has passed, looked like a skull as it rotated.

The above image also looks like 2 large teeth sticking out and a scary face carved in a pumpkin. There’s something really weird about this comet or asteroid which is supposed to visit us again until 2027 so they say.

  5. Sometimes there is a weirdly fitting outcome such as a skull shaped comet. I have noticed Indian quakes such as those due next year are redolent of the god Shiva having Mars in Scorpio with refers to the penis, a symbol of that particular god. Mercury adverse says Shiva has something to say. He has a lot to say next year. Anyway if you want to predict space events look for aspects involving Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto and since sometimes things do collide with the Earth we could be more cautious about times when the outer planets get aspected. I have been able to half work out why quakes occur at set times, gravito-electric induction and the piezoelectric effect in Basalt, but the effect in outer space might refer to some condition in plasma surrounding the Sun. In my understanding the direct link to outer space lacks a convenient Laboratory definition such as Thomas Townsend Brown demonstrated with the Gravitator. Quantal effects have been shown to soften metals, which still does not give a clue why it is possible to predict outer space events and I am still left with “because it just DOES” not a glimmer of explanations. Somebody else who does Mundane Astrology might like to research on past meteor strikes the outer planets appear to give some clue when something is coming down.
