Tension builds: five more earthquakes strike off the coast of Japan in one day

Japan Seismic tension June 10, 2015
June 2015 JAPAN Five earthquakes have struck off the coast of Japan in a 24 hour period, raising concerns that pressure may be building along the complex network array of tectonic plates that collide under the sea, just off the coast of Japan. A 5.0 magnitude earthquake (11 km deep) struck 52km S of Kushiro, Japan. A 4.2 magnitude earthquake (26 km deep) struck 264km ESE of Kamaishi, Japan. A 4.7 magnitude earthquake (50 km deep) struck 19km ESE of Hasaki, Japan. A 5.5 magnitude earthquake (26 km deep) struck 120km E of Miyako, Japan, which was followed by an aftershock of a 4.7 magnitude earthquake (19 km deep) 170km E of Miyako, Japan. Fears may be mounting, along with the seismic tension, which may be an indicator that some larger seismic event may be brewing for Japan in the near future. –TEP

My horse sense tells me these quakes are precursors as opposed to “letting off steamers.” With the Artic ground defrosting at the rate it has been, that defrosted land is expanding and must fit somewhere. It seems like the faults going down the Pacific are going to take those expansions…well until a plate moves.

Gosh I feel bad for the folk and wildlife in Japan… hopefully it will all settle down again soon… the Earth seems to be going through a “growing phase” volcano’s and earth quakes?

Sooooo, who’s ready for all that contaminated stored water at Fukushima as well as the spent fuel rods to be spilled directly into the Pacific Ocean!

And they are getting ready to reactivate more nuclear plants that have been inactive since the Fukushima disaster?

Most of the reactors that were not damaged in the rest of japan were restarted already. Much of japans electrical power comes from nuclear reactors, so they were caught between a rock and a hard place.

In the case of Japan, not live. When the next big one hits other reactors around Japan will go the way of Fukushima. Japan will become unlivable in a very short time. Soon so will the northern half of the Pacific Ocean and all shorelines that it touches.
