4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts Central California

March 2015 – COALINGA, Calif. – A small earthquake jolted an area of central California, but there were no reports of damage. The U.S. Geological Survey reported the temblor occurred at 6:30 a.m. Friday and had a preliminary magnitude of 4.2. It was centered 6 miles north of Coalinga and occurred at a depth of 7 miles. Christine Mercer, a dispatcher with the Coalinga Police Department, says the quake wasn’t too strong and lasted four or five seconds.
She said: “You could kind of hear the rumble and then there was a jerk and that was it.” Mercer says police received numerous calls, but none reported any damage or injuries. The USGS website shows a number of smaller quakes in the same area overnight. The largest was magnitude-3.5 at 12:32 a.m.  –Fox News

    For the last year now the San Andreas fault has been shaking quite a bit. Makes me wonder if it’s either releasing pressure or the beginning of something much greater…

      If we try to correlate aspects around all tectonic plates, we have definitely started to watch them rumble. Why can’t we figure out that it is beginning of something bigger which might shape our coming generations. Tectonic Plate Shifting and True Polar Wandering are definitely correlated. How much time, maybe few hundred years if not thousands.

    This is only the beginning, my gut’s telling me there’s going to be more and bigger, at least an 8 up near San Francisco.

    I can’t shake the feeling, and it’s starting to weird me out.

    With the reports of a double El-Nino for this year the increase in severe storms that strike the coast and the harmonic effects from that could exacerbate the earth quake concerns in California: Not to speak of the entire west coast. A ripple affect, perhaps.
