6.4 magnitude earthquake strikes coast of Chile – buildings rattled in capital

August 2014 – CHILE – A magnitude-6.4 earthquake shook the region near the Chilean port city of Valparaiso on Saturday evening. The centre of the quake, which was also felt in the capital city of Santiago, was 37 kilometers north of Valparaiso at a depth of approximately 40 kilometers, according to the seismological institute at the University of Chile. There were no early reports of damage, though some areas lost electricity. The ministry of the interior said there was no danger of a tsunami. –The Hindu

    Something is going on in the ring of fire on the west coast. Already seen the post on the event in California, worst yet to come on the west coast…….people do not believe…….. Look at Chile……..
    Something worst is coming……….
