REPORT: At least one Ebola patient is headed to an Atlanta hospital – American infected with virus condition worsening

July 2014 AFRICA – A patient with the deadly Ebola virus will arrive at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for treatment “within the next several days,” according to a statement from the university. There is no word yet on exactly when the patient will arrive, but it is expected that he or she will be treated in the hospital’s wards that are specifically set up to treat highly infectious diseases. The “hospital has a specially-built isolation unit to treat patients exposed to certain serious infectious diseases,” Misty Williams wrote in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Set up in collaboration with the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the unit is physically separate from other patient areas and is one of only four such facilities in the country.” Doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff who work on such dangerous cases are “specially trained,” and a statement from Emory indicated that the hospital and its staff “are fully prepared for this type of situation.” According to Vaughn Sterling of CNN, Medevac will actually be picking up more than one American Ebola patient in Liberia. It is not known whether the Ebola patient headed to Atlanta is one of the Americans with Ebola, both of them, or another patient entirely. A CBS/Associated Press report from earlier in the day noted that “the U.S. is looking into Medevac options to bring two American aid workers diagnosed with Ebola back to the U.S.,” citing White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest as the source. That approach would be consistent with previous outbreaks, such as SARS, when infected Americans have been brought home so that they can receive treatment in the U.S. healthcare system.
A statement released today by SIM, a Christian mission working with Ebola patients in Liberia, indicated that the condition of healthcare worker Nancy Writebol, an American infected with Ebola, had taken a turn for the worse. Dr. Kent Brantly, an American doctor with Samaritan’s Purse who works with Writebol, is also battling the virus. Here’s the full statement from Emory: Emory University Hospital has been informed that there are plans to transfer a patient with Ebola virus infection to its special facility containment unit within the next several days. We do not know at this time when the patient will arrive. Emory University Hospital has a specially built isolation unit set up in collaboration with the CDC to treat patients who are exposed to certain serious infectious diseases. It is physically separate from other patient areas and has unique equipment and infrastructure that provide an extraordinarily high level of clinical isolation. It is one of only four such facilities in the country. Emory University Hospital physicians, nurses and staff are highly trained in the specific and unique protocols and procedures necessary to treat and care for this type of patient. For this specially trained staff, these procedures are practiced on a regular basis throughout the year so we are fully prepared for this type of situation. An Emory University spokesperson declined to provide additional details. –Business Insider

LOL 40,000 people die per year in car wrecks.
98,000 people die per year on average from Doctor malpractice.
36,000 people die per year on average from the flu.
ONLY 700 dead from this Ebola hype, and keep in mind not all those cases may actually have been from Ebola, but where labels as such.

Where is the mention of the Advanced Case being treated at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City?
Looks like someone thinks we dont have enough cases over here yet?

There is no known cure for Ebola, the 2 U.S people are not doing well. Why would anyone in their right mind take a chance on bringing them back in the U.S? Precautions my behind! We see what its doing in Africa, they can’t contain it. So this is how we are all going to go out? All because some jerks said we have to bring them back, I say leave them there, why risk infecting the United States? It might sound cruel, but look at it this way, 2 VS millions of lives, you do the math! We should protest and block their entrance into our country! We are being endangered, our whole country, why is that? Once it starts to spread, that’s it for us, were all goners. Some way some how things happen. I say we are fools for letting them come into the United States. I don’t care what kind of precautions they are using,if you believe it won’t some how get out, then your a bigger fool to believe the government… Its just to big of a risk for us to let them back in!! If the Ebola continues to spread across Africa, then it will become a waste land for the dead. Is this how we are going to go out in this world? Bleeding out from every Orpheus???

Yup! Unless Depopulation is the goal.

I know that sounds harsh, but we all know we are too many at the party and we ‘ve turned it into outright chaos.

Nature is intelligent always but her patience is really runned out. We know this to be true.

Roger with all due respect. We cut the rain forest down so ebola had no choice and found a new host. USA are ‘endangerers’ since a long time. We will all get a piece of the pie… why not USA-ers?

Its called ‘responsibility’ or …. karma.

Noone can say we haven’t been duly warned, eh Alvin??!

Thank You so much for all your hard work and over-whelming workload, Alvin

Holy cow!! Go work on them there!! Keep this contained on one continent, don’t drag it to another continent with the potential for an accidental release here.

The picture that accompanies this article says it all. Look at the eyes of the nurse being suited up. She looks scared to death, as she/we should be.

As serious as this is (and has been prophecised) has anyone tried a regimen of colloidal silver to kill viruses. There are God given plants and herbs for all diseases. Plagues: Hawthorne, the leaves, berries and flowers, the herb of St. John ((outdoor climbing ivy on trees), and Violet leaves and flowers. Use these by steeping or brewing.

Leta say they lose containment in Atlanta Georgia, by accident of course. I leave you to your own thoughts about this of course.

Bad idea to bring back, should keep it there. But, who is to say containment was not broken during transportation?

They keep telling us not to worry…you have to be in direct contact…if that’s true why are they looking for 30,000 people that may have been “in contact” with a passenger on a plane? I’m sure they didn’t all sit next to him…so why are they so worried but we are not supposed to be?

Does someone know when, how, and by whom the clearcutting of the amazon began?

We all guess right with the why and the whereabouts eh?!

I don’t believe Africa should pay off our cosmic debt all alone now should they? Anyways, its naive to think that the bug will stay put. It takes 3 weeks for every atom to travel our planet. I m sure ebola has a map too.

We’ve been warned for a looong time. I think we’re at the time & place where we find ourselves chewing our coffee beans, finally we are dealing with reality of our responsibility, or lack thereof.

      Be present.
