6.0 magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Costa Rica

Costa Rica 9 4
September 5, 2013 COSTA RICAThe United States Geological Service (USGS) recorded a magnitude 6.0 earthquake 44 km west of Sardinal, in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province at 6:29 a.m. this morning.  The USGS reports that the quake struck at a depth of 41.7km. ICR has received reports of shaking in the popular tourist destination and beach community of Playas del Coco, described as three strong jolts over the course of about a minute. The Observatorio Vulcanológico y Sismológico de Costa Rica (OVSICORI) has yet to record the event, but reported a magnitude 3.8 temblor 39 km southwest of Manzanillo de Santa Cruz, also in the province of Guanacaste, a few minutes after the event reported by USGS.  OVSICORI reports that quake having struck at a depth of 5 km. There are no reports of injuries or damage at this time. Today marks one year to the day when a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck the Nicoya Peninsula, also in the province of Guanacaste, on September 5th, 2012. That quake occurred at 8:42 a.m. local time. –Inside Costa Rica

You forgot to mention the 6.0 in the Atlantic yesterday…

I was at my home in Nicaragua some 200 miles from the epicenter one year ago. It was a bit scary even being that far away. Today I am in Costa Rica, only about 30 miles from the epicenter of this mornings quake. It was a pretty good jolt, enough that my 10 year old was trembling with fear.

Hello brother Alvin. Thanks for you’re last kind response. Brother Alvin, there have been no less than 7 MAJORA(6.0 and above) earthquakes in the last 3 days. That’s amazing. I normally record any quakes that I hear anything about in the Mainstream Media or any quakes that are of a magnitude of 6.0 and above. In all of the month of August, 2013 I recorded 11 quakes. So far in the month of September, 2013 I have recorded no less than 9 quakes and it is only 6 days old. That is a dramatic increase from August. Also, in addition to this there have been no less than 11 MAJOR quakes in the last 9 days. Is there any reason why there has been such a dramatic rise over the last 1 and a half weeks in MAJOR seismic activity and do you expect this trend to continue over the weeks and months ahead? I think you said sometime in the last few weeks that the last part of this year being from October to December we would see a dramatic increase in seismic activity. Is that correct? Please reply A.S.A.P. Thanks brother and may God richly and abundantly bless you in all the work and in all you’re endeavours that you undertake. SHALOM ELOHIM!!!

I did, and we will. I do not see this as an escalation of events, as much as this represents an intensification of geological processes that will propel the planet towards a new catastrophic dynamism. I have laid out a scientific context for which the planet processes will becoming increasingly more erratic- and this will underscore dramatic shifts in tectonic plates, and will herald the arrival of large-scale volcanic eruptive events. The planet is teetering on the precipice of a new geologic age.
