43 Responses to The Great Divide: The world is becoming more polarized and corrupt – and does anybody care?

  1. Further proofs that society is breaking down and headed for a collapse. Governments no longer pay their debts. Religious institutions are caving in to the forces of darkness and chaos. Entertainment keeps preparing us to accept the New World Order. The world has abandoned the truths and faith that has sustained it for so long, and it is going rapidly insane as a result. We really are becoming the remnant described in Scripture.

Capitalism is drawing to an end. There is a scramble to build police states to maintain the privileged life that the elites currently live, but inquality must be dealt with or there will be revolution (it really is getting that bad). It merely appears that civilization is breaking down because no one supports capitalism, religion, etc. anymore and so everyone is exploiting everything for their own benefit (corruption) and trying to shore up wealth and power (religious violence, rapidly growing inequality, obscene trade agreements for corporate exploitation of the working class) to prepare for the transition to what comes next, which if you look at all the problems we are facing will be a Resource Based Economy, or in other words, a Command Economy used during times of Total War. The society will probably be increasingly less religious and increasingly more egalitarian, after all, no one likes someone who has more than another and didn’t work for it.

I believe we are in deep trouble on all fronts. To say that the world is become more polarized is an understatement especially in the workplace now and even in the church……It just seems that a lot of people are so defensive and arrogant and can get so upset by just looking at them. They seem to act as if you are trying to take something from them. I could sum it it up as a lost of natural love and affection for one another…..I think this generation has lost a lot of social skills from the electronic items we use so much today in our everyday life. It is strange some people don’t want you in their business/stress, but they will expose their personal issues on face book and in chat rooms to total strangers.

However, I think we are seeing a social engineering event in progress…..leading to a complete world dictatorship in which no one trusts no one and everyone is a threat. What the Russians used to do, was divide everyone against everyone and then conquer. They would establish contacts or informers and establish a network. They get informers to inform on the informers. Everyone was paranoid of each other. That was one way they gathered intelligence on the population. An example this day could be the patriot act…. Also, I noticed our city vehicles are carrying a sticker advertising that they will report suspicious activity.” A sort of neighorhood watch”.

Since 2008, there has been a on going class warfare in the USA. It is all a plan I believe. The cultures are far more polarized now than I have seen in a long time and, and hidden resentments that I thought had been healed over time are being fueled again. If we keep this course, there is going to be a huge blow out, unfortunately.

The devil is working really over time. I think it is written that people would be haters of good, boasters, calling good evil and evil good, haters of parents, unthankful and unholy, truce breakers, jealous, backstabbers, need I go on………….

As of right now, the world is being conditioned to received either a ET CONTACT as salvation
or a man who has all the answers……..and the world seems to be coming to the point it may be willing to do it………….

This is part of the unraveling……… I may have missed it by a country mile

There was an article on the internet today and it is probably just a rumor and I have read this several times but some in the goverment (DHS,FEMA) are expecting martial law in the usa by March 2013………

    Just my opinion………at 11:09 PM 01.26.2013.

…..any wonder that God would decide to do a major shake up of the earth now? He does not take this kind of corruption lightly..especially from those who are to shepperd his flock…yet, in the world of war; what better place to attack the enemy than to parachute behind enemy lines and attack from within? satan has been doing this for some time and he is corrupting the weak and vulnerable of spirit in God’s church to try to discredit the Gospel of Jesus and not only there but has attacked all institutions of education and leadership causing confusion among the masses as to what is true and what is counterfeit.

so god is doing this now because we are way too corrupt? so he was okay with slavery? abuse and exploitation of the earth he gave us? he’s was good with the mass excution of millions of jews. okay with all the wars prior to this century, IN HIS NAME, i might add.

i believe in god but i do not that god would put his children through pain and suffering, prior to his coming back to earth. frankly it doesn’t make sense. and if your god of the bible says that that isn’t a god worth worshiping. It is a dream of a sick young man born about 2000 years ago.

Have you ever read the whole Bible? If you did, you would understand that your statement makes no real sense. It is based on human emotion and not on God’s ways. The Bible says that His ways are not our ways, and our ways are not His. And God very much so is a God who judges sin. I would suggest you dig in and read your Bible, from the beginning to end..and many of your questions above will be answered.

For one, God doesn’t do these things…Satan and the kingdom of Hell does. God sent Jesus to save us. God allows these things to happen because the ‘flesh’ belongs to Satan. Jesus stole the keys of eternal death from Satan, but not physical… blame this on the fall of man.

The evil that happens in the world is the result of Satan and mans endeavors to disobey God and serve the enemy. As long as man serves the enemy, man will reap the reward of the enemy. Unfortunately, innocent people will also be affected because our physical body is corrupt and wicked from the very moment is stitched together in our mother’s wombs. The only thing that is safe is our soul..if we know Jesus Christ. We will suffer here, but we will be redeemed.

So, when the Bible says “God judges”, etc. He is allowing Satan to have his way with the world to bring down judgment, because judgment brings repentance. I think you forget, our physical bodies and lives mean very little in comparison to our eternity, in God’s eyes. And if physical death saves people’s eternities, then God permits it. If suffering saves even one soul, God allows it. We are ONLY here to serve Him. It is our eternity that He cares about..not this wretched life.

Again, and I don’t mean it rudely at all, even if it sounds as such. I mean it genuinely. Please read and study your Bible. God is God of all..but since the fall of man, He has allowed Satan to have dominion over this world. That is the reason why bad things happen to good people. That is the reason for destruction! The Earth was made perfect originally..but the earth became pregnant with sinfulness and rot..and now she is giving birth! These are the labor pains! Read the Old Testament, and read Revelation!

I hear this a lot from unbelievers. We have been living in a sin-fill world since Adam and Eve. Violence has been going on since Cain killed Abel. Those wars that were fought “in His name” were not fought with His approval. God did not approve of slavery of any kind. God does not approve of any mass executions. We will go through pain and suffering in this world because of man’s will – not God’s. But for those who believe in the Only answer, His Son, even if and when we die, we will still live.

Now, he could have destroyed everyone once sin entered the perfect world He created, but He didn’t. When He brought the flood, He still saved a remnant. He lets His creation live, because He is also a God of patience. He doesn’t want any to perish (eternally) but to come to His Son. Unfortunately, there are many who will continue denying Him, and that is their choice.

You say that you believe in God, but what god do you believe in? (I ask this in love not rudeness). I happen to believe in the God of the Bible. And I know that one day I will, as will everyone, come face to face with my Creator. For I know that my Redeemer Lives and so will I.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal live through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Nobody cares, that much I believe. The populace has been divided on purpose. That keeps us from working together. Their minds are also numbed by mindless entertainment and uber technology. We are all guilty of apathy in one way or another. Although many of us are trying to be aware of what’s going on around us. this apathy in society will be our undoing.

While I do not pretend that “society” cares, I do think people still do, that a large number of people are just as heartbroken as we are to be witnesses of this crumbling world; some of us recognize these events “that have become so common” (to quote Mr. Zetina) as signs of the times, but we have to brace ourselves for the reality that, indeed, the darkness will spread even further before it is shattered by the light of Christ, while others feel as overwhelmed, paralyzed, and stunned, but by hopelessness and the darkness itself. I think we all know that feeling, hopelessness; without Christ, where would we be? Ephesians 2:12 “. . . having no hope, and without God in the world.” And Jesus warned about these days and said, “. . . he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22). But I don’t think that He says this for our sake, but for the people worldwide who have no knowledge of the truth; within the “church” there are people who have no knowledge of the truth; false doctrine and dogma and predators have kept them confused and ignorant. Their examples of love have failed them while the attitude of the world is increasingly hostile. So maybe not all of those who have left the church are true apostates; maybe not all of the “lost” are enemies of God. Maybe, if we succeed to endure, they will recognize His love in us (a la John 13) and understand the love of God in Christ Jesus. And this is hard. Many generations of faithful have died without having to endure the tribulation, but we have this burden of grace in these last days, even as the darkness settles like smoke around us. It started with a lie, and, to this day, the world believes it, but, even when it silences, interferes, and interrupts the truth, the opposition is no threat to love and, for certain, is no threat to God.

Yes, niebo; Jesus said crime will be so rampant that the love of many will grow cold [ paraphrased..sorry…] and I think that is what we are up against, but I believe that many of us here will refuse to be brought down to the level of the reprobate and will continue to agape to the best of our ability even to those that use us, abuse us and mistreat us. We can still be the light of the world and salt of the Earth if Jesus lives in us.

Thank you. I was very angry with God recently, after the whole Sandy Hook massacre. I lie on the couch, crying, asking Him, “Why?” He answered me and told me these things. How we glorify the flesh because it is all we know, but He cares more about our eternal man. And how bad things happen to the flesh because Satan has been given a certain authority over it for a time. I asked Him, “Then how come some children are saved from horrible things, and others are not?” He said, “Because if Satan’s plan interferes with My plan, then I will thwart His plan.” He explained how He is grieved by the suffering of the flesh, but that in the end, we will all be victorious, and physical torment and death is only for a moment. Even the flesh of a saved person belongs to Satan. I could not comprehend this, and so He said, “Who comes for your body when you die?” I said, “Death.” He said, “That’s right. Before sin, there was no death. Death is owned by Hell.”

That’s when He explained to me about Adam and Eve and the corrupted flesh, and how from the moment we are conceived, we are corrupt and filthy and unworthy…that is why we must be saved through the blood of Jesus Christ..so our ‘eternal’ person can live eternal in heaven.

So I said, “Well, then what of abortion? What’s the point of that?” He said, “There are many reasons, among them is judgment…so I can bring judgment on sin and the people committing the sins.” I had a hard time with this, but then He reminded me of the Exodus, and how He hardened pharaoh’s heart in order to bring judgment on Egypt…and innocent children were killed in the last and final judgment. He told me we will never understand because the flesh is so sacred to us, and that I would just have to trust Him.

Amen to that Lyn.It is certainly a constant struggle to overcome the natural fallen world as evil constantly tries to use it to draw us away from God’s spirit. I know that there must be millions of reasons for allowing so much evil to prevail but perhaps one reason is that we would eventually get so sick of the evil in and around us that we would strive more to be in God’s Holy light and accept the payment for our sins by God himself through Jesus. I know this helped me many years ago to truly search the Lord [ and release my agnosticism ] and he answered me with love and miracles.

Thank you for your comment, Joseph, and God bless you. I think, sometimes, sadly, what really brings us into God’s presence is when we get brought to nothing…and we realize we can’t do it ourselves… this humbles us greatly and causes us to need God..and it shows us that without Him, we are nothing… it shows us that everyone else in the world might fail us, but God won’t. This is how it happened for me. At one point, I lost everything..my life was crumbling….even lost my health for a time… I had to rely on God. This gave me great faith and humbled me.

Do you know when or if the collapse of the worlds money (debt) system will occur? This subject scares the hell out of me. Every one I know thinks I am nuts for even thinking about it. They rather go back to their hand held technology, sports scores, media created reality shows and want-a-be no bodies that have fake online romantic relations with people pretending to be some one else! I feel the fabric of family bonds are being destroyed by these distractions.

No one takes the time any more to get together to play games, host parties or even just to hang out and unwind in their down time. The Zombies are now every where. They walk around looking at their hand held technology unable to speak, but can only send text messages in short, abbreviated, compulsive sentences. They seem to be on a mission to meet as many online strangers as possible, calling them friends, sharing everything private (true and made up). There days are filled with stress because their time is used up on digital gossip, but they always run short on time for important tasks, like hygiene , preparing nutritious meals, exercise, work and daily chores. This is why these poor souls have no down time and are stressed out of their captivated minds!

I am not against digital technology, I am quite techy. That stuff has its time and place (multitasking example, like sitting on the john, unless its illegal to text and poop in that state or country). Best to be safe not to get cited or ticketed.

I just refuse to become a zombie!

You’re not crazy. The systemic financial collapse will occur. The toll of natural disasters will send country after country into bankruptcy and financial ruin. Banking systems, where men have secreted away great wealth, also will be laid to waste by natural calamities, which will strike the Earth with little warning. And everything man has relied upon for centuries, as hedges supporting class divides, will be broken asunder like reeds in the tempest. “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.” Nahum 1:13

Fearful and terrible, are the scenes before us that are about to break upon a world sound asleep.

  10. Your final statement is actually the biggest part of the problem, Alfonso: no one can admit that there really is a problem. Many pay lip service to the idea of there being problems, but the are in utter denial about the real cause, which is humanity’s rebellion against God. This is the true reason why our world is blindly rushing toward judgement. The bulk of humanity has bought into the lie that we are still making progress, that we are getting ever closer to “enlightenment”, but we are going in the opposite direction. This is why God’s judgement is coming to this world in our time: the truth is ignored and the collective ego still thinks that we can solve our problems with no outside help. Even in the Church I see this happening. And so those of us who do see it coming, who watch fulfilled prophecy unfold around us every day, are left with our prayers and our faith to help us get through the rising darkness and into the wonderful age to come.

Punishment is coming soon – no argument – one only has to read the Bible to see why.
Apostacy is rampant not only here but all around the world. People have turned away from God. Men are doing what seems right in their eyes.

I really fail to see why you would be critical of those people who are doing their best to be prepared to take care of their families ( peppers). When I was a child, and even when I was an adult, my parents had a 12×12 room in our basement that had always been our food storage area. Two walls were Lind with heavy duty wooden shelves and were always fully stocked with canned goods, both store bought and home canned. That room also had two potato bins (4×7) that we filled each fall. We also had large bags of onions and piles of home grown squash. That was not seen as bizarre, or somehow doomsday. It was what our families did to prepare for the upcoming year, until our gardens produced their next crop. Why would you or anyone think this is bizarre? It is only in recent times that people began to rely upon stopping at the grocery store every day. Perhaps you lived in the inner city? Many of us did not. We too, had guns and ammunition. My father and brothers hunted. We ate the meat, as well as all the meat we raised.
I believe it has become mindlessly fashionable to mock or criticize people who are responsible, and I do wish it would stop. It was this level of preparedness that allowed my ancestors to survive.

Hello, I think preparedness and thinking about preparing your heart first are certainly not mutually exclusive. What some people are bothered with and lately call “preppers” are those who think of such things as hoarding gold, building fancy bunkers, buying all sorts of supposedly long-lasting foodstuffs–usually expensive– (not the nice home-made ones you are talking about ) and all kinds of things which get them, sadly, into the same vicious circle which got us into many of the problems our society faces right now and doesn’t have any sane, creative answers for, much less faith filled, humble answers. In short, let us be united. I am sure the person who talked about prepping is much closer to your own ideas than a first reading may lead you to conclude. Yes, let us cultivate gardens, let us try to get away if we can, from mega cities, with God’s help. God bless you.

Just doin some back-reading…on the question of the ‘preppers’: God is in the same place with that as He was with Joseph and the Egyptian ‘preppers’ before the world crisis of that time. He was so behind that mission that He allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery, then put into prison unfairly just so he’d be in the right place at the right time to help the Egyptians stockpile for 5 years. Nothing wrong with preparing a nation for crisis, so why would there be a problem with preparing your own family? He has asked us to open our eyes and see the signs of the times…why if He didn’t want us to be prepared? He cares for our physical needs as well as our spiritual needs.
