Inner Mongolia China, latest region of planet caught in sub-zero super-freeze

December 30, 2012 CHINAA freezing blizzard pummeled the Xilin Gol area of China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday morning, severely affecting road traffic. On the No. 308 provincial highway, vehicles found themselves stuck in deep snow as severe blizzards lowered visibility from 200 meters to less than ten meters in just ten minutes. The blizzard started on Friday night and brought almost one meter of snow to the highway by the morning. Local traffic authorities have launched an emergency weather response plan and have been warning local residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. According to meteorologists, local temperatures are expected to drop 10 to 13 degrees Celsius over the next two days in the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia. –Telegraph

    With so much volcanic activity and ash in the upper atmosphere and growing is it any wonder to how much this trend will expand.

    These colder temperatures could be caused by the lessening sun activity called the solar minimum, causing the upper thermosphere to cool off … and it’s also said that ;

    “When carbon dioxide gets into the thermosphere, it acts as a coolant, shedding heat via infrared radiation. It is widely-known that CO2 levels have been increasing in Earth’s atmosphere. Extra CO2 in the thermosphere could have magnified the cooling action of solar minimum.” …

    Now with the low solar activity along with the increase C02 from so much volcanic activity and so many fires … surely these elements would have an effect on cooler surface temperatures …
