‘No meteoritic or alien connection with Red rain’ falling in Sri Lanka

November 17, 2012SRI LANKARare showers of red rain fell for over 15 minutes in Sewanagala, Monaragala and Manampitiya, Polonnaruwa yesterday morning hours of yesterday and day before yesterday. According to Meteorology Department sources red rain fell heavily in these areas and the reason has not been found yet. Red rain in Sewanagala and Manampitiya left red frost on the ground. This is the first time red rain was witnessed in Sri Lanka. The Health Ministry Secretary informed Medical Research Institute (MRI) Director Dr Anil Samaranayake to conduct a study to ascertain the reasons for red rain by taking water samples from Monaragala and Polonnaruwa. Increase in the acidity of the air and sand storms are the usual reasons for red rain. However, there are no sand storms in Sri Lanka. India had red rain last year and Indian scientists discovered a variety of micro organisms as a reason for the rains. Since the micro organisms had no DNA, they guessed it had to be a strange phenomenon. The MRI is carrying out research to find the exact reason for red rain in Sri Lanka. –Daily News

Check out the video, this is re the blood rain the fell in July this year!

Is there some deserts near Sri Lanka? Can’t sand from a desert cause red rain?

Huh…no DNA in red rain so this must be something. Like a strange phenomenon….really people, how about giving God credit when you see His work….sigh….

Wow! How weird is this and weather is weird everywhere too. Earthquakes, Volcanoes and I think God is warning us on earth to come to him soon as possible.

Thanks Lyn Leahz! Very enlightening. As I was watching, I was thinking… why a micro organism but no DNA ? Possibly because all DNA is from creation but there was life before creation and so that life IS the originator.. The Creator God who of course would not have any DNA but could create it to make a physical time constrained world. Fascinating.

Health Ministry identifies cause for ‘red rain’

The red rain experienced in certain areas is due to the presence bacteria of the trachelomonas algae species, the Ministry of Health said today.
Trachelomonas algae in rainfall is common over Kerala (Southern India) but this is the first time it has fallen in Sri Lanka.

Although this lichenous alga proliferates in wet conditions, becoming airborne, no-one has worked out the mechanism by which such a large number of these spores drop from rainclouds.

Well, they’ve ruled out meteoric, alien, or sand. Maybe they need to check Biblical. Just saying…

No DNA!? for a Micro-organism!? How about RNA, like some viruses? Otherwise somebody isn’t telling us something important

I would more likely believe that it is “dust” mixing with rain (moisture) and the red dust may be coming from “Planet X” or Nibiru which is passing throught our Solar system according to some. It is probably made up of iron-ore hence the “red” color.

…..if it was from planet x, the planet would be visible every day and night. The Mayans in fact didn’t talk about any planetary body coming closer to us. Most prophecies are metaphorical, like ”wormwood” mentioned in the bk of Revelations in the Bible.

It is not dust. It is a cellular structure. There is no DNA or RNA as there is no detectable phosphorous which is the chemical that both strands of genetic code use as their backbone. These cells are also shown to be reproducing and continuing to do so at temperatures exceeding 500 degrees Fahrenheit and doing so at pressures that typical terrestrial life forms can not.

And really? God’s people being punished? Sri-Lanka is primarily Hindu.

Let’s avoid mythology and personal opinions and focus on the facts.

All known life on earth from the deepest ocean to highest mountains rely on DNA to replicate and propagate. Everything, You could argue that DNA is the language of life as we know it.

Now, we have seen a cellular structure that reproduces and grows without use of this “life language as we know it”

It has been analyzed thoroughly by scientists and DR’s with state of the art microscopy and chemical testing and they have ruled out dust or rust. They have also compared the unicellular structures to known micro organisms that they suspect could be a plausible source of origin, algae and bacterium and have found nothing similar.

They have found unusually high levels of uranium in the cellular walls of these cells as well which are not only atypical for terrestrial organisms but would be for them as dangerous as well.

So, we have an un-identified cellular organism reproducing in a way that we have yet to identify consisting of an atomic structure that differs from all know life forms, that can not only survive, but thrive in conditions that even known species of “extremophiles” would find difficult.

Couple all of this with the fact that they have found evidence of these organisms within (not on but inside) meteorite samples that fell very shortly before this event in the same area and I find it hard to believe that people are so ready and willing to discredit this event as “dust storms” “iron oxide” “god’s will”

If this isn’t an extra-terrestrial organism then I wouldn’t know what to call it. They may not have provided the level of evidence of that the scientific community needs to admit it, but they aren’t doing much to show it is anything else.

And it disturbs me that in the face of all this evidence, people still say things like “I’m more likely to believe” who cares what you are “likely to believe” This is not a subjective event. We’re not asking your opinion about ghosts or the after life. Then there is also patent denial… which is also scary. An then of course the mindless devolution into deity worship in the face of the unknown.

Open your minds to likely possibilities. It could be an alien organism and that would be PROFOUND.

some scientists are saying it is algae…Algae has no DNA? now that is strange that they found the same exact cells INSIDE the meteorite as the cell structure of the cells in the red rain. Some scientists are claiming there is uranium in it? Which scientist should we believe?

Absolutely, – unless we learn to think for ourselves, care ourselves and become responsible – nothing is going to change. My ex-husband was that way – inactive, infantile and demanding, now he’s sitting on imgur all-day upvoting jokes about jerking off. In case you don’t strive, you lose it. Excellent post. xOxOx Sarah- http://phytoceramidesreviewstv.com/
