Large explosion and CME on the farside of the Sun

September 28, 2012 – SPACE – A sunspot on the farside of the sun exploded on Sept. 27th, sparking a bright flare of extreme ultraviolet radiation and hurling a massive CME into space. Although the explosion occurred on the other side of the sun, it was visible by NASA’s 3-D app on cell phones around Earth. –Space Weather

    I keep wondering why these super huge explosions happen mostly on the other side of the sun. Is the Lord protecting Earth from these right now or what? interesting.

      Yes, Laura, the Lord is protecting the Earth until it is His time. When He starts sending judgement, everyone will definitely know it. We need to have our faith firmly planted in HIs son.

    Space weather is still reporting the CME from the 26th. There one that occurred on the morning of the 27th will hit earth directly, see here:

    The CME was ejected from the farside of the Sun, so it wasn’t Earth-directed. But in the past, sometimes hasn’t the intense magnetic field of the Sun “grabbed” material and somehow flung it back toward the Earth even though the initial explosion was on the farside? I seem to remember that happening just a few weeks ago. Am I mis-remembering that? Does anyone know about this stuff?

        I was feeling that a little too.
        I think it may be because we are witnessing many events that can leave us feeling vulnerable and unable to do anything about – fascinating as they are, but a little worrying at the same time.
        We may feel we are at the mercy of something so much greater than ourselves, we can only but observe; pray for the best outcome; hope for the safety of all and not be witnessing the ruination of life and the planet we love.
        Maybe many of us are either rendered catatonic because of these events and/or are just quietly watching and waiting for what may be next…the intuition/(sense of the potential) of some is heightened at the moment.
        The truth is better than fiction, I feel. What I mean by this is, that I prefer to know ‘facts’. Then armed with this ‘knowledge’ one can prepare for our (and our childrens’) future; continue to treasure all we are blessed with and enjoy the ‘gift’ of life.

        By the way Alvin, received your book “EP 2012 & Beyond” and am trully enjoying reading it 😉
