My mother lived through the post war depression in Austria. Her aunt would sew clothes just for food. To get one egg was a prize.

5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds (about 1 kilogram) of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds (about 3 kilograms) of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” – Revelation 6:5-6

Make sure your seatbelt is fastened and keep arms and legs inside the ride at all times. If you’ve never been a praying person, now would be a good time to start.

So true onthemark55…. The day is quickly approaching when gold, silver. and gems will be totally worthless because you can not eat gold. The Hebrews found that out when Moses came back down the mountain and made many of them drink the golden calf.

It seems obvious that no one has a clue what to do to fix the economy. I would start by reading the novel Atlas Shrugged.
