And Americans are selling their gold to hucksters right and left. I wish I had bought gold and silver years ago.

Do you think it will happen like that here in the States? All the gold gone, then the money and food?

What good is $100,000,000 in gold shares if it all collapses? Initially it will barely any good to have gold and silver in your hand. What are you going to do, hand someone an once of gold for a few cans of food and ask for change back? Just my opinion, but I think most folks are still too focused on wealth and not enough on survival. Not to mention that they have taken salvation completely off the list.

In reality, a catastrophic collapse with gold as the standard will not immediately work. What will you do to buy some eggs? Take a saw to your gold coin worth a $1000 and chip off a sliver to pay? The only purpose to gold is to preserve wealth for when a system is healthy again to trade that in for whatever serves as the new currency.

Here are some verse references to read about what the Bible says about silver and gold:
    James 5:3, Zephaniah 1:18, Haggai 2:8, Matthew 10:9, Ezekiel 7:19, Isaiah 46:6
People shouldn’t fret about not having any precious metals. What good is a bar of gold if you cannot get “change” back in gold pieces for purchases? Ammo, alcohol, cigarettes might be more valuable and useful for bartering.
