6.1 magnitude earthquake strikes sea-floor off the coast of Kamchatka

June 24, 2012 – KAMCHATKA – A shallow 6.1 magnitude earthquake rattled the sea-floor off the coast of the Kamchatka peninsula. The earthquake had a depth of 17.4 km (10.8 miles)). Kamchatka and the Aleutian peninsula are some of the most seismically-active regions on the planet. A 6.0 magnitude struck the Aleutian Islands five days ago. This continues to be a region of the globe to monitor for more seismic unrest. – The Extinction Protocol

    This is only the beginning for Kamchatka. Massive quake on the way up there. This was just a foreshock. Watch this area for a possible tsunami generating 8.0++ quake in the next few days.

    They had a 9.0(upgraded from 8.2 by usgs) in 1952 that killed aprox 15,000 people and sent a tsunami that hit Hawaii pretty hard. Man, the NW corner of the Ring of Fire is just plain HOT. We may wake up some morning and find Japan destroyed and the rest of the world living/dying with the effects of their failed nuclear plants. With the US in direct path for initial fallout and our history of involvement in the evolution of Japan, sadly, “For they sow the wind, and they reap the whirlwind” comes to mind.
