Wow……….We have blogged about it on this site. It appears to be coming to past.
We live in a world of change. I guess we must do what we can to lessen the impact when it happens.

This reminds me of a topic that we discussed in Sociology on the social-economic ladder or strata of the world many years ago. Whereas the economy would worsen due to corporate greed and over the passage of time, each encome level would fall one or two rungs down the ladder. Many on the very top had enough strength to hold on, while those in the middle would fall to the bottom, and those on the very bottom would fall off the ladder completely, leaving extremely poor, poor, and extremely rich. The system of greed eventually caused all to fall off (the house of cards) because there was no one in the middle to maintain stability of the ladder. Interesting to see how this is coming to fruition. Greed, one of the seven deadly sins.

Well, they’re finally running out of road to kick the can. The can is going over a cliff and Europe will follow. The elite will survive, for now. Those who have been paying attention and practicing their private austerity plans, might survive. However, there are too many who have lived in a state of denial. They will suffer the worst.

Alvin, good comment. The party is definitely over.

Alvin, the guy who moderates The Economic Collapse Blog is a Christian attorney who really does his homework. I have been reading his site regularly for several years now, and his research is impressive. He has a gift similar to yours: he can take a complicated subject and explain it in simple terms, making it understandable to someone below his level of education and training. I would like to encourage all the EP readers to check out his site. Thanks for posting a portion of this important article. God bless you!

Alvin, I’ve been receiving Emails from that site for about two years.
Has good info. But, buyer beware, on some sites like this they offer well, disaster food/stuff and that seems to be advertised for other companies but i ordered a product, not from this site but through raidersnewsnetwork and VISA reported that my credit card possibility had been compromised. I had to be reissued a new card.
I have found that local purchased canned food will keep, may not keep for 30 years, but well past the expiration date. I have ate C-rations in 1975 that were canned in 1954.
Sodium, salt keeps it, like the old smoke house.

      • A lot of ads are super-imposed on the site and I have nothing to do with them- just so everyone knows. Dennis, thanks for the heads up…

Why don’t they just forgive half of each others debt. If the governments and banks did this most would end up in the black. Some would lose and some would win. Overall they would be worth the same they all would owe half as much and be owed half as much.

I agree with Jerry, I have always wondered why they have never done this. I’m sure it probably isn’t as simple as it sounds but it sure makes sense to me.
