Cesium in Fukushima Prefecture 122 Times Higher than in Belarus Evacuation Zone

Koichi Oyama, a member of the city council of Minamisoma in the prefecture of Fukushima, has measured unusually high levels of cesium 134 and 137 in the soil of his city.
Soil samples were analyzed by the Minamisoma government and found to be 122 times more contaminated than the mandatory evacuation zone in Belarus north of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

I just came back from a long vacation in Malaysia Sabah islands and I was told lots of Japanese are buying property and moving inn.. And it’s the same in many other Asian countries..

The most danger resides in reactor 3. Which had recently rotated MOX rods into place. 10 years of blockades against the use finally overcome the year before. Reactor 3 is severely damaged and still can not hold water. Why is MOX a big deal? According to the Nuclear Information Resource Center (NIRS), this plutonium-uranium fuel mixture is far more dangerous than typical enriched uranium — a single milligram (mg) of MOX is as deadly as 2,000,000 mg of normal enriched uranium.

One would think that with a disaster of this magnitude involving radiation and how it obviously spreads around and affects places all around the globe that those leaders of various countries would look at this radioactive crisis in Japan and say no, let’s not use nuclear weapons because we would only end up hurting ourselves….but NO, that kind of logic will never happen because only poor common peasants think like that.

I don’t have the means to relocate from the east coast of U.S. but have thought about it, not for myself but for my teenage son. I worry that the young folks will get cancer within 10-20 years from this (and anyone else still alive then).

MSM will never tell us what we need to know, this is really scary to know that we have’nt been told everything about this situation. I’m not buying anything from Japan again I don’t care who says it’s safe, I don’t want it. I hope all the people over there can get away from that mess.

I’m just a pin-head flight attendant, but I have recently read in the alternative media that Senator Wyden, of the state of Oregon, recently visited the Fukushima plant in Japan and is very concerned that the spent fuel pool in reactor 4 may collapse and cause wide-spread nuclear contamination throughout the northern hemisphere:

Just a thought: even if things continue as they are, eventually, say 10 years, there will be enough nuclear contamination on US soil that the real-estate market will tank (who wants to live in a radioactive country where all of the food is contaminated with radioactive isotopes?). Time to consider saving money and buying land in the southern hemisphere.
