    Not surprised. European Union is really the “Fourth Reich”. Most Nazis escaped capture at end of WW2, and instead took on important positions in banks and governments…and they actually had a back-up plan which is similar to current European Union. Well, it looks like the Nazis never went away…they simply changed their game plan and their names.

      The fourth reich is global. Todays economic system literally eats up the earth at an amazing speed in the search for oil and other natural resources.

      European Union has a major role to play in the end times though and the antichrist will probably come from eu or southeastern europe / asia.
      After a major global disaster, an antichrist figure can impose new safety rules and a new economic system
      Stay awake and see it coming, dont accept the “mark of the beast”

    Dang….ever since I was little I’ve heard that someday there would be a man that would be placed into power that would “unite” the world (Antichrist). And now that I’m older, I’m amazed how this is becoming true. The Bible is truly Gods word even if people choose not to believe it to be so.

      Jeff… you should be careful not to use absolutes, not ALL faithful Catholics are privy to what is happening in the Vatican. However there is an evil within the Church that seeks to destroy the Catholic from within as stated by the Pope:

        Chris, this is exactly why Protestants left Catholicism because of doctrinal disagreements. Unity is not going to happen. The need to enforce uniformity is the very cause behind the religious wars and strife in the world throughout history- the Inquisiton, the Catholic wars against the Hugenots and Waldensians, the Crusades, the Muslim purgings in the Middle East against infidels, the fighting between Catholic and Protestants in Ireland, the fighting between Catholics and Protestants and Muslims in Bosnia and Croatia, China’s war against the monks of Tibet, the war between Christians and Muslims in the Middle East and Africa.

        Accept it world and get over it. Everybody doesn’t want to be what everbody else is and only egoism and a smug superiority-complex is making us believe otherwise. What did Christ say: “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24. God’s revelation is a personal relationship and experience with the individual believer and that is something the individual needs to have on their own without having their conscience compelled by directives at the urging or dictatation of a priest, bishop, mullah, caliph, maitreya, spirtual guide, apparition, solider, papal edict, or fatwah. You can’t give someone an experience with God.

    Jeff, I don’t think “all faithful Catholics are privy to this plan”. Not the ones I know. We must realize that the average typical Catholic may be as sincere a Christian as anyone, and he/she is not privy to such thoughts, in fact this is the last thing they would think of.
    I think my Scots relatives in the Middle Ages were part of the Templars, married into the Holy Roman Empire system, as followers of Queen Margaret and her descendants. What goes around comes around.

    Lastly some simple research into history reveals the Holy Roman Empire leadership spent a ton of it’s time and resources taking on the Holy Roman Catholic Church, so if one wanted to take on the present day Church there’s one idea right there.

      Lisa I hear lots of Catholic ‘bashing’ in my Pentecostal Church – so sad!!! doesn’t communion intimate common union in Christ? One Bread One Body One Lord of all…. one cup of blessing which we bless, and we tho many throught this world, we are one body in this one Lord. (foley ) Accept Jesus, live by his precepts (which are Gods precepts) and joyfully await His second coming. From a woman who was brought up in the Catholic faith, who got in trouble from her bishop once for declaring “I am a Christian who elects to worship in the Catholic tradion”. I am married to a wonderful Pentecostal man, and that is where we choose to celebrate and worship these days. But still we meet so much angst again the divided and separated bretheren….. Come Lord so we may be reunited in your new kingdowm.

    This will lead to a violent revolt in many countries, especially the previous “eastern Europe” countries. Many people in my country in Scandinavia work hard to make my country leave the EU or stay out of any closer relationship with EU. If our national politicians accept this they will probably be removed by force…because more and more people in my country know that EU is the same as any other dictatorship in the world. European Union is already close to a civil war with all the economic problems and the high unemployment…

How could this possibly have anything to do with a Rothschild-British, Sykes-Pico mandate for the establishment of post World War II Israel? What kingdom? Christ set up no kingdom on his first advent. Christ clearly told Pilate, “My kingdom is not of this world: if it were of this world then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” John 18:36 Did not the thief petition Christ on the cross, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” Luke 23:42. I’m at a lost to understand how you could miss something so plainly set forth in the scripture. What you’re attesting to amounts to nothing more than premillenium dispensationalism. This is the very thing driving these worldly nations to wars and economic ruin trying to institute a kingdom on Earth to reign for a thousand years.

    The characteristics of the Antichrist in rev 13 clearly mark the papacy as the soon to be antichrist. The prophecies of Daniel 7 and revelation are playing out just as God intended. If u don’t have land out of the city I suggest you start looking now. Once Obama wins the election, america will be shoved the rest of the way down the toilet and the world will be set for the nwo to take control and all they need is the papacy as their ” religious” “Christian” backing to get the rest of the world on the same page. There are no differences in mainstream Protestantism and Catholism anymore. They have forgotten what Martin Luther did and stood for.
    There are many good people of faith out there but it’s going to come down to those who follow the 10 commandments and those that do not. You have to prove and defend everything with and from the bible. Satan has had 6000 years to perfect his deception and he is using every means possible. The more truth in error the easier it is to deceive. I want to be a part of the people of rev 14:12. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” The fourth commandment was changed long ago and people need to research why Sunday is now the day of worship and not Saturday as the commandments state, the apolstles and jesus both kept it.
    Hope is the only thing keeping me going and I am so excited the end of time is happening in my life time. I am 24,a seventh day Adventist in Atlanta and I pray god is with all of you the next few years because heaven isn’t even comparable to this blue dot in space we live on.

        The whole reason America is in the middle east right now is for religious reasons. It has nothing to do with oil or nuclear bombs. Daniel 11 talks about The king of the north
        ( christianity/America and its allies) against the king of the south ( middle east and it’s allies/islam and new age religions) and the only reason we are over there right now is for control. “WW3” if you may, is going to wipe out anyone that objects to our ideas(Christianity/nwo). Rev 13:3 says the whole world will wonder after the beast. Not part or half but all. History repeats itself and the papacy is going to be a persecuting power once again. Time to study ur bibles more than ever!!! Strongs concordance is a excellent way to start. You can google it or download the iPhone app. Don’t be afraid of revelation. It is a compilation of over 1000 passages from all the other books in the bible. Daniel and revelation go hand in hand.     With all of the recent “bad” news, the super moon tomorrow in conjunction with the Lyrid shower, volcanoes everywhere boiling, a massive subterranean explosion near a sleeping GIANT, Israel on the brink of drawing its guns, etc., I for one cannot shake the feeling that today is the worst day at this point in history. The steamroller has reached apex, and it is, from here, an unstoppable downhill ride. I pray we all have the diligence to hold onto the hope of God’s steadfast love and mercy in Christ and the strength to raise our eyes to the sky, not only to see our redemption but also to spare ourselves the view of what happens next.

    From what I have been researching, I thought the Antichrist would be someone in politics and the False Prophet will be the Pope. There is a new book that was released last week by Tom Horn and Chris Putnam called Petrus Romanus…The Last Pope is Here. I have not read the book, but from what I have read, they talk of a Catholic prophecy that is over 900 years old called The Prophecy of the Popes. It names all of the popes up to the last one, who is Petrus Romanus or Peter of Rome. He will take the papacy after the current pope and it is also predicted to take place this year, 2012. I am eager to read the book! The author also provides a DVD with ALL of the books/videos, etc., that he used for his research to write the book.

    We are living in the most exciting time of all!! Events seem to be coming at us at warp speed because I am starting to have trouble keeping up with it all!! What amazes me about the world we are living in is denial by so many that the world is changing right before their eyes! They are more interested in what happened on American Idol than the events taking place all around them! All I can say is, “Come quickly, Lord Jesus!”

    This post has been the scariest one so far…There seems to be so much of Daniel’s prophecies in this post. As a Catholic I have also heard that the Pope we now have is the next to last Pope, but there is some disagreement as to whether the next Pope will compromise with the NWO or be forced to flee Rome for his personal safety.Someone recently sent me a Glenn Beck video where he states that Obama administration wants to accuse the Catholic church with international money laundering..[ so much for separation of church and state all of a sudden] so I am sure that there really will be a three ring circus of evil between the European Union, Asian / Russian partnership and false freedom of the socialist states of the Americas. Obama has already been trying to force the hand of the Catholic church in the USA to tear apart all churches, desperate for the money they have , I have told the local churches years ago to never accept funds from the government for charitable endeavors for they will end up owning you. They are very close to doing that now. Not just the Catholic church but all.

    Zane you say Pope but it would have to be an anti-pope and there is where the danger lies, if the succession from Saint Peter as well as the protection is broken and someone is installed other than by the Holy Spirit there will be trouble. Too many think they know what The Church believes and do not for a long time Vatican II which was not a bad thing has been twisted by progressives to distort and destroy. As Christians whether Catholic or Protoestant better stay close to Jesus things are getting rather interesting. And Zane We have Mass on Saturday as well as Sunday.       Lisa I have many catholic and muslim friends and I love them all the same, don’t think im a catholic hater at all. History has been going on a long time now and people have forgotten where they have come from and what has happened. But we have to study history when we study bible. I am not a man of traditions I like to have a sound basis for everything i believe. Saying that the bible says in 1 corinth 11:2, matt 15:3,mark 7:5, mark 7:13 to remeber gods traditions over mans and make sure not to forget. Then in 1 Peter 1:25 the bible says “gods word endures forever”.

      This is in the question and answer section out of -The Sunday visitor-, dec 29 1996. Father frank sheedy answered the questions in this one. Question: in our bible study, we couldn’t find the term “ever-virgin” to describe the blessed virgin Mary. When did they start calling Mary “ever virgin”?

      Answer: Catholics have two sources of faith: the bible and tradition. One must be careful not to make the mistake of some Protestants-namely, if it isn’t in the bible, it is not so. Catholic teachings on “Mary ever -virgin” will be found in the catechism of the catholic church.

      Take that statement for what you will, but it’s pretty clear to me. Lisa I challenge you to this, if the 4th commandment is clear about “remembering the sabbath day” then why do u attend church on Sunday instead of Saturday???

        Zane, Lisa is right about the oral tradition, the Bible says it many times in the NT that we should learn from the Bible itself as well from tradition learned from the Bible. However, it is always important to test everything to the Bible. You won’t find anything in the Catholic Church that is against It. You can ask Jesus if you want to know about the real Mary, He will give you an answer.

Please pardon my mixing of parables, but no matter how far from home we may wander, regardless of the foreign land in which we become lost, His sheep HEAR and FOLLOW. We repent, realize our error and change, flee from the foreign land (sin), and upon our return, our Father meets us on the road. Where, exactly? I suppose that, for each of us, that specific place is different, but what is true for all is that God sees us coming and meets us with open arms. He leaves the ninety-nine and goes after the one and rejoices when He finds it. None of the prodigal venture beyond salvation, anymore than the lost sheep are able to escape the sound of His voice, which we hear because His love is STRONGER than our sin. It is the blood of Christ that makes us clean. Parsing and debating lead to schism and separation, to dogma and false doctrine, but none of these hinder the Grace of God. Now is not the time to embrace what alienates us, which is but prejudice and bigotry. Instead, remember what binds us together: the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. I understand the divide between Catholicism and Protestantism; I have studied it for years, but the sheep need not fear other sheep, only the wolves who scatter and devour with lies, lies which are, in the end, no threat to the truth, because the Shepherd is stronger than their sin, too.

    I’m not sure there’s an unbroken apostolic line. I read recently on some site about historical oddities that there was a fight among candidates for Pope, and one Pope accused another after his death of usurping, and then the new pope was also accused of usurpation, and actually this is some doubt as to the descent of the apostolic succession. Many traditional Catholics now consider all popes from Pius XII to be usurpers, and have special masses where priests are ordained through other bishops…I am not an expert on this, but I believe it is probably true. For that matter, talking about usurpation, the “Jacobins” (some at least) accuse the Hanovers of usurping the British throne, and say that the present King of Bavaria Francis II (not officially on the throne) is the true King of England on the Stewart line, followed by his niece, Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein, and her son Joseph Wenzel, who is presently sixteen years old. I was googling this last night when I could not sleep and it’s “fun” to chase royal families and see how many of them there are. The Leichtensteiners look like a really good bunch: the present Grand Duke refuses to participate in politics if the Parliament approves Abortion. Way to go, Duke Alois!
