    Alvin,
What is your opinion on all these 2012 doomsday preppers along with the doomsday preppers from National Geographic? Are they nuts or justified? A lot is unfolding now and your book paints a grim picture of mankind’s near future in regards to these earth changes.

People have to follow their own convictions. As a believer in Christ, we looked for that blessed hope in His soon return “for yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.” Hebrews 10:37

What I will say is we haven’t seen panic yet hit the world like what will soon unfold. These calamitous events are going to move from the shadows of the evening news to the main headlines before very long. There will be no discernible cause or reason for the strange escalation of events; only the foreboding sense of fear and dread of where they are leading.

Heretofore, the Lord warns us: “When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anquish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. For they hateth knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord.” Proverbs 1:27-29

  2. Kinda like beam me up Scotty? I dont think 12-21-2012 is a magical date. I will likely come and go with out a major event. I believe we will continue to see increased clatyclismic and wierd events at random & diverse locations until the pole shifting is complete. I believe that it will take quite some time before the earth change events diminish. It wont really do much good to go overboard on prepping . lots of food and weapons are not a guarntee of survival . Having Know How and being self reliant are in my opinion more valuable than hoarded goods. We may die but if we dont do things that endanger our immortal soul we will be OK. Actually it quite an exciting time to be alive on the planet. The End of an age. Just as well embrace the new adventure.

I agree with you. I don’t think it’s a magical date and my friends family went to visit the ruins and they were told that there was a date in March apparently that was suppose to be the actual date of a huge change. I guess we have a few more days to see if that comes to fruition. Bad things will happen and are happening but I will not let fear hold me in its chains. I am not guaranteed to go through life without suffering and even if I prep endlessly anything can happen. I am just going to continue to live, love, and follow Christ. I pray God gives me the strength to withstand the coming storm that will want to crush me against the rocks.

There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that we are going to need food, weapons, medical supplies & other life saving necessities – plus – intelligence & survival skills. They all are going to be needed to help us through the coming storm. I suggest if you can prep you start doing it immediately & calmly advise your family & friends to do so too. 21/12/12 to me is a threshold, a doorway & once we pass that date things are going to get so progressively worse that these days we are living in now will seem to be paradise. People really have no idea what is coming at them. Keep your soul clean but please – prep for everything else also.

Prepping is good, but consider it as having an emergency plan. Climate disruption is ever present and obvious.
We are now living a life of duality. Many on this planet have and are still suffering, but most of us have become material girls and have ignored many injustices.
We are in a programmed slow depression. The money changers have seen to it. Everyone will pay their dues, soon enough.

The current situation wants us to come out of 3D (physical , mental ,emotional) and enter the 4th Dimension that is spiritual. I am a Hindu (Indian) but I do know that Christ is the doorway to the Kingdom of God .I frequently say Lord’s Prayer because I know that this prayer is going to look after me and not the materialistic preparations.

I disagree Marta… I believe in Jesus Christ as out Lord and savior and the Trinity. But I do not believe you MUST be born again to enter the kingdom. Smile has sought Jesus’ face, Smile WILL be in the kingdom right along with you. Otherwise how would you explain Christian’s born into the faith (not born again), or primitive tribes who have never heard of Jesus, the list goes on? Both are two sides of the coin, but God would not deny them a seat in paradise just as much as he would you or myself. Keep spreading the news of Jesus, but maybe think next time about who has the say of who’s in who’s out.

Sorry, Smile, but saying the Lord’s prayer won’t save you any more than saying the twelve times table. The Bible is quite unambiguous about this, that you must call upon the name of Jesus, (that is, accept Him as Lord), confess and repent your sin, and give up all affiliations with any other god apart from Yahweh. This is the way to salvation. My friend, it is only the acknowledgement of our failure to measure up, and Jesus’s paying the price for our sin that gives us a ticket to Heaven. You can’t earn it, it’s a gift. But you have done well to come part of the way. Please, for your own sake complete the journey by becoming a full Christian. You need to be better informed about this and I can’t do it here. The next step for you is to find a church, and ask them to help you as you read the Bible and learn about Jesus. As you may see, the time is running short.

Hey Alvin, since I dont work, and cannot afford your Book. What can I tell my family to be prepared with. I mean trusting in God and praying is necessary do these times. Do we prepare in all ways including weapons? Please reply with whatever you think is necessary. Thank you very much:)

    • Supreme Siddha, I totally understand and the message of awareness is the essential essence of the book. As these events worsen, the time of great migrations will come where millions will be forced to relocate and fan out over the Earth. We must learn to share and live together in community as we never have before. We also have to heed the signs in concert to the change unfolding across the Earth. The most important thing right now is making people aware that the Earth is changing in ways never seen before and that these effects will only worsen over time. I hope and pray I and others can do more to help and reach those most in need. Please stay in touch and may God bless and watch over your family.

On weapons: The physical plane is disintegrating and with that, our power over it. At this fundamental level, violence will only beget violence and Ahimsa, the way of the spirit, heart, must prevail over fist.

I (personally) find that things are tending for something big – whether it’s geopolitical or natural. There’s nothing wrong with always having enough food, water, meds or emergency supplies at hand that’s being realistic but my problem is: being seriously armed. This is supposed to be a time for enlightenment and still people think: GUNS. If you kill your fellow men in case he COULD steal your supplies… I doubt the good Lord will approve. On the other hand, if you share some, he might see you in a better light. Just a thought.

I have read various, very good, survival and prepper sites, to see what will work for me. However, about the only serious food storage I do is really right before winter when I know I could be snowed in for a couple of days. Also, being 60 years old and my health not as it was in my younger years, I’m not about to traipse off into some remote location in case of emergency. Any “surviving” I do will be right here in my house.

As for having weapons, I can see the sense of it; I would definitely plan on sharing my supplies, however, someone who is intent with stealing everything you have, won’t care whether you’re willing to share or not. Also, if you’re stuck in an urban situation with your family, you have a better chance of defending your family from serious harm. We are responsible for the weaker, more vulnerable members of our family, and self-defense, albeit a last resort, is then a viable option. Then there is always hunting for wild game, if there is no other food. However, having a weapon, any kind of weapon, takes training and a lot of common sense.

As for me, I don’t own and weapons, so my reliance will be, as it always is, totally on Jesus. I believe He will provide me with the means to store what He wants me to store, and provide what I don’t have, if and/or when calamity hits home.

Alvin, off topic, but I was wondering… Why would the Christian faith believe that all this will begin on December 21, 2012… I don’t remember the bible or any Chrstian writings that give significance to this date. Would you have any insight on this? Or is everybody just hopping on the bandwagon of the whole mayan calendar ending and then linking that to the fact that the revelations are coming true?

Don’t feel bad if you can’t answer this question, you must have lots on your mind and kept pretty busy with all the comments and news that keeps coming out.

    Prayers for a better world.

I figured such, must just be coincidence that everything seems to be happening around this time. I know that a lot of my cousins, uncles, and aunts, and other family members (who are also Christian) are worrying about this year as well, preparing for the worst. I’m sure that they don’t follow any of the Mayan culture either, they just seem to have a feeling that things are really starting to unfold.

Thanks for the response Alvin. Take care and God bless. Hopefully we all will live through these times of extreme disasters to see the good that comes out of it.

May it be so. We are told these events are ‘only the beginning of sorrows‘ For the 161 people of Joplin, Mo., who were killed by a EF5 tornado last year, the end of the world has already come and gone and it came with little warning. The sun was shining on Tuesday morning May 22, 2011 and there were not many clouds in the sky on that ill-fated day. Who would have ever believed later in the evening, the winds would howl at speeds of up to 250 miles per hour and reduced such a huge portion of Joplin to ruins?

Herein is a dire warning and lesson for the world. “For as it was in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them away; so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.” Matthew 24:38, 39 While the world is engaged in merrymaking and frolic, while the stock-market is precipitously rising and men are hatching schemes for plans to be laid well into the future, when the sun appears to be rising on a future crowned with splendid technological achievements, the Bible warns us, ‘sudden destruction‘ will come upon the world and they shall not escape. 1 Thess 5:3. The final calamitous events that will sweep across the world will come with blinding force and speed.

Keep your eyes on Christ and stand strong in your faith

As a local resident here in the Corbieres, France I can tell you that quite a few people are worried about the effect on the otherwise perfect countryside here.

The mayors of all the local communities are worried but there are also a lot of people set to make a lot of money, out of the travelers who arrive. The shops, the mayor, the wine merchant, the new hotel that has just opened especially, all the local B and B’s etc. The place is already full of camper vans and some are staying until the 21st Dec. Some were here for the 22nd March another ‘key’ day apparently. The villages here are tiny and some are not even on mains drainage yet, if the predicted thousands arrive then there would be a possible health problem in these villages.

Bugarach mountain is a beautiful, dramatic place and definitely has a presence. Many people travel from all over the world to visit for various reasons.

After the mass suicide of the ‘Children of the sun’ at Grenoble some years ago, France is very sceptical about sects and many are banned, the Raelians had many problems trying to establish themselves here. I do think the mayor’s worries about mass suicides is founded.

Last week the body of a man was found in just outside our village, a traveller with thousands of euros still in his bag, en route across the mountains here to Bugarach, he had been dead a year, he had set off for the previous ‘end of the world’ and alien departure…..which failed, at least he did not donate his savings.
