Could the strange booming sounds from a few days ago have come from the magma moving to the volcano???? Someone needs to check this out, it could answer a few question.

Weeks before the October 2010 Mt Merapi eruption in Jogjakarta, deep booms inside the earth were heard on a daily basis. Also, other unusual noises from underground, like moving rumblings or lava flows below the earth.

This is probably where the noise came from but in other countries where the same noise was heard last year there aren’t in volcanoes so I wonder if the noise was indeed created by this volcano than why did those other countries make the same noise when they don’t have any? Is it earthquakes? I am very intrigued.
