    • It’s becoming characteristic of a planet whose climate is becoming more mercurial with each passing day. Snow places are dry and normal places are receiving more snow. Record snowfall in the deserts of Atacama, Chile and Nambia this year are clear indications…the atmospheric processes regulating climate itself are unraveling.

I live in Central America and this is considered summer or the dry season. We’ve had rain on and off since Wednesday and it’s blood cool and cloudy…very abnormal. However, I am thankful for the rain as we just planted a few seeds and the rain was a blessing.

Thus, the existential comtemplation begin. These days will make us all wonder that exact thing. We have to all figure that out individually as everyone’s individual destiny bears its own spiritual artery and unique stamp on time outside the human collective. They say the two more important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you figure out why.

Aren’t these all the same changes that have been going on for years? It is easy to look at things and manufacture some doomsday prophecy. People have been doing it for centuries. This blog seem’s to be the contemporary version of the person walking around public streets with a sandwich board sign with “Repent-The End is Near” plastered on it.

    • We’re not manufacturing anything- nature is doing the job for us. However, across the globe, the surviving families of these disasters, living in tents draped across muddy ground and existing in squalid conditions for the first time in 3 generations will be comforted by your aloof assessment that all is well and cyclically-routine in paradise. That goes for the environmental refugees in Haiti, the drought and famine victims in Africa, dislocated homeless flood victims in China, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Colombia, Central America, Brazil, and Thailand, the displaced environmental refugees in the Fukushima prefecture of Japan, the earthquake victims who number thousands in the Eastern Turkey and Sikkim region, the displaced in Joplin, Mo, and the volcano victims in South America and Indonesia.

Perhaps your energy would be best invested in helping and lifting up the victims of these disasters rather than attempting to beat down those printing the headlines.

        Great answer Alvin.

        2 Peter 3:3-4
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

        You’re right Alvin.
I just said this because I have seen a notable increase of individuals stirring dissension on Christian sites, blogs and threads. Some of these have been closed down by the owners because the bickering and arguements got so out of control. Don’t want to see this happen to this site as well.

May our Father in Heaven watch over you and every believer here in Yeshua’s name,

        Amen

Planet Earth, our only refuge, appears to be entering a phase unfamiliar to us.
Will we experience slow but alarming changes; OR, might we see exponential
and major change, similar to watching a huge gyroscope, begin to spin- totally
and irrevocably toward our appointment with the Latter Days? The fact is, we
can not choose an outcome of our choosing. Some things simply are not within
our understanding or realm of influence. Having had nothing to do with getting
    here, we now look on with the prospect of having zero control of where we go;
or, the bed we will sleep in?

  10. And I also miss the snow. I grew up with it. Since God sent me to Bohol in the Philippines, I have been praying if I could ever have some snow up here on my mountain top. Praise the living God. It wont be long now.

we have been told more than once what our purpose of being here is yet we will not believe in it or heed what we have been told.it is too easy, too simple.our sole purpose of being here is to get to KNOW GOD.and in doing that we will find refuge and safety for eternity.he warned us in his word,he warned us thru certain disasters,he has warned and shown us many many times that he is who he claims to be.but our hearts are hard.it is a simple matter of believing and accepting.for you nat sayers that cannot see the changes on and in the planet then i think perhaps your eyes are shut.there are voices of reason and people who can see that GOD uses for HIS GLORY to help those of us that have other gifts from GOD.this site is filled with people with many gifts.heed what is being said.blessings to all.

It is unlikely God would use the Mayan calender to give us the year of this world’s end. History is full of idiots who claimed to know when it’s coming. I am far more concerned about the social and economic upheaval than a pagan calender. If Vegas is taking bets, I’ll bet it all that 2012 is not the end. It will be an increasingly bad year but we have a lot of scripture that needs to be fulfilled. before we start the ‘death watch.”
