This was a very good post. I just can’t believe everything i hear and see from the United States anymore. People have no more rights and they are king of all lands. How can they even have the right to do what they are doing is beyond me. Something will have to happen because they are getting out of hand completely now. It is crazy and the U.S is getting very very scary.

Where is this world going i wonder..

AS for one of the co-sponsors of this bill, I will say that I am disappointed…… I would have expected better, from Senator John McCain.

Looks like, trouble coming, i can see it. It is getting worst every year it seems.
Going to have to do something before it is too late to do anything at all.
Going to have to relocate. Going to have to leave my beloved country and go to America. About
the only place left on earth where a person has civil rights and liberties guaranteed by The Bill of Rights and a very good Consitution. That is what I will do…………

Oh, I was dreaming, I am in America……….

So true Dennis. I love my country and I sometimes wonder where would be a good place to go. Unfortunately, this is becoming global. Our Constitution and The Bill of Rights have become antiquated pieces of paper. On that note, looks like my senators will be hearing from me, once again.

Bad news. Under the article of war, they can hold you as a war combatant, but as a citizen of the US, a person is entitled to due process by a jury of their peers. They can only hold you for 72 hours…theoretically. This is the new gestapo.

Ahhh…Senator McCain is showing his true colors. I voted for him against Obama, but it is apparent to me that there wasn’t really a choice, as both of them are very anti-American. Just different on the surface, but same agenda underneath.

May not be a bad idea at all. A year ago I concluded that asking Russia for political asylum from the u.s. seemed more viable now that the u.s. & uk appears to be gobbling up cultural sovereignty all over the world.
Especially now that these thugs are going for grabbing people anywhere in the world with the latest self-serving fascist legislation. In addition to 12-15 so-called “vote” on internet “piracy”, or snuff out uppity attempts to help ourselves from THEM..

Ironically, if this wasn’t america 2011, i would swear we were living the Russian Revolution of October 1917.

In the post “North Korea threatens to turn South Korea into a sea of fire”, Alvin made the comment that the US is the 2nd beast in Revelation 13.

After having read this current post regarding the Senate bill I can only think one thing now:

That the US military is beginning to surface as a prime candidate for 2nd beast.

If the papacy is the 1st beast, I am now thinking one thing concerning that also:

Who is running, or seeking nomination to run, for the 2012 US Presidential election who would tie the two together.

I might be misconstruing the whole thing, but it is hovering very clearly in my mind.

Interesting thought Gen. That thought has also crossed my mind. I have been watching the candidates very carefully and, since I really don’t trust any of them, any one of them could be a prime candidate. So many people want to vote Obama out, they would vote anyone in to achieve that goal, even Satan himself I believe.

Whether or not the US military is the 2nd beast is still up in the air. Only God knows all the identities of all the end-times players. But, I will concur that it is a possibility.

And I agree with Amy P. Yes, Hillary is a very frightening woman.

I don’t trust any of them here in Australia either, Labor, Libs, Greens, Independents – they are all in bed with each other & all with their snouts in the trough. Today, after slashing parts of family benefits, medical research funding, public service spending, Health & other things they announced huge pay rises for members of parliament. The absolute nerve of it. Our PM got a 90k per year pay rise if you can believe it, taking her annual salary to about 470k. We may be labelled the Lucky Country but things are starting to unravel at the seams here, people are losing their jobs & the cost of food, utilities & petrol is through the roof. Police, nurses & teachers have been fighting for a 12k raise over 3 years for a long time now & the work they do is just as important as what those fat cat MP’s do.

I think Ju-Liar Gillard will need that 470k + after the next election if not before to buy a little island somewhere isolated because in the 45 years I have lived I have NEVER seen any PM quite so hated.

I’ve always thought Orwell was a prophet or at the very least either subconciously or not, tapped into a higher level of awareness when he wrote. This possible new US Bill has definite shades of Animal Farm & 1984. I can also find simillarities with unfolding world current events in works byTolkien & to a lesser extent by King. The signs are all around us.

I had a few thoughts, and I want to put this down, before I go to bed and forget.

In one of the video links posted above, it was mentioned that part of the debate on the bill, was held ‘behind closed doors’.
We do not know, what exactly was discussed….. Or, *what* they know, that has not been disclosed publicly.

For such a secret hearing to convince a majority of the Senate, to vote for approval of the bill, in the face of our Constitutional traditions….would indicate to me, that there were some pretty frightening scenarios being discussed.

Given recent World Events that have been unfolding, this can’t be a good thing.

Seriously, what are our “leaders” thinking. I’m so done with both the Republicans and Democrats I’m voting for every non traditional party this november. How much worse could it get. This is the worst piece of legislation to come across the senate since the McCarthy era… and back then I doubt this would’ve passed 93-7…in a Democratically held Senate no less. I’m done. This country won’t last another 10 years. I hate to say this believe me. I love our country but how is this happening…

In remarks to her international counterparts at the École Militaire in Paris on the importance of strong international partnerships, Napolitano highlighted DHS’ commitment to working with France and other European partners to enhance international security. Napolitano is on a worldwide travel swing that will take her to Europe and the Middle East in the next week. Napolitano also underscored the DHS’ international security efforts, emphasizing the full range of threats the United States and its international partners face including terrorism and organized crime, including narcotics smuggling and human trafficking; proliferation of chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons; and emerging threats in cyberspace. She said DHS has more than 1,500 employees stationed abroad in 75 countries working bilaterally with nations and other major multilateral bodies and organizations to strengthen the security of the networks of global trade and travel.
