In the 2012 post dated 7 November (linked above) Alvin highlights Taiwan’s destiny. The attached link explains how China views Taiwan as still being part of China. They promise not to start a war EXCEPT when it comes to getting Taiwan back under their control.

President Obama, at least in public, sounds like similar American presidents speaking more for the home front rather than the intended party. America has bullied it’s way around the world since 1947. President Lyndon B. Johnson thought he could strong arm North Vietnam just as he strong armed American politicians; that did not work. Obama is shooting off his mouth, to stop North Korea would mean attacking which would unleash destruction on South Korea by the North.

Countries around the world see the USA as an aggressor nation that will attack a country if the USA does not like what they are doing. The big fear is these middle school level American leaders will make fatal actions to defend their ego, USA’s ego or some corporation’s interest that will will promote world war in which the USA will not be fighting lightly armed men but trained armies and most of the world watching to see the bully gets a whipping.

Joint SK-US drill to cope with N. Korean nuclear threat
“South Korea and the U.S. will conduct a joint exercise to politically and militarily cope with a crisis situation in which North Korea threatens the South with nuclear weapons. The Defense Ministry in Seoul said Friday that it will conduct for the first time a tabletop exercise organized by the Extended Deterrence Policy Committee at the U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Nebraska on Tuesday and Wednesday. The command is the unit that manages nuclear weapons in the U.S.”

    S. Korea Plans Major Drill for Attack Anniversary:
South Korea’s military announced it would stage land, sea and air exercises near the tense sea border with North Korea to mark the first anniversary of Pyongyang’s deadly artillery attack. The shelling of a border island on November 23, 2010 was the first attack on a civilian-populated area in the South since the 1950-53 war. It sparked outrage in the South and provoked worldwide alarm. The drill aims to test the effectiveness of any retaliation after Seoul’s military was widely accused of a weak response one year ago. The JCS said the drill would involve Marine artillery units permanently based on Yeonpyeong, jet fighters armed with ground-attack missiles and a 4,500-ton destroyer. The army would also be put on full alert.
