Triple terror attack deepens crisis in the Middle East

August 18, 2011ISRAEL – Magen David Adom (MDA) has declared a mass casualty event and the State of Israel has moved to its highest security alert nationwide as hospitals report that five are dead following terror attacks that struck the country’s southern region midday Thursday. Authorities are calling for Israeli to donate blood at local MDA stations across the country. The area has been declared a closed military area and the IDF spokesman has asked people to keep away. At Yoseftal Medical Center, 29 casualties were admitted with a range of injuries, including severe trauma. Seven of the most critically wounded were sent by medical helicopter to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. Two Egged buses and an IDF vehicle were targeted by unidentified terrorist cells in what appears to be a coordinated operation. Several soldiers were also wounded when explosives went off at the security fence with Gaza. In the first attack, three terrorists ambushed bus # 392 about 30 kilometers from Eilat as it traveled on Route 12 from Be’er Sheva towards the city, opening fire with automatic weapons. Most of the passengers in the first bus were IDF soldiers heading to the Red Sea resort city on leave. The troops engaged the terrorists in a shootout, killing at least two of the three operatives and leaving a third critically injured. –Israel Nation

    • You are correct in that we haven’t seen the worst of it. Yes, all the nations will turn away from Israel. I see it happening now, even in our churches. Need to remember that God doesn’t lie. When, in Genesis 12:3 God says “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”, He meant it.

For those who are interested, read Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Isaiah 19, and Ezekiel 38-39. If you’re not familiar with who’s who, you might need to check it out. But in Ezekiel, Magog is Russia and Persia is Iran. Israel will defend themselves. But, there is also an Almighty God in control and He will be on Israel’s side.

      • What we do know is they have a satellite guidance system, a missile delivery system and and have enough radioative material for an improvised nuclear device or RDD so this crisis is already at the threshold of a potential apocalyptic scenario. It’s not good.

      • Well, you need a GPS satellite guidance system for missiles if you intend to send them into foreign countries, so that’s always a concern when countries like Iran and Pakistan starts space payload deployments. China is very advanced in ABM technology, and so is India and the U.S. We don’t readily see it, but each day, the world is becoming a more dangerous environ than the day before it and that undeterred march of technology, in the face of nations vying for the brute power of destruction over its enemies, should be one of our greatest concerns.

There is no hotter place on earth that is simmering to boil as here.
While it is true that certain earth change occurrences could effect our daily living, there will no earth change event that will affect our lives as to what is about to occur here.
Israel may be the second smallest country in the world, but it is the world’s most significant, to The Living God.

No, Idiotbox, not saying that at all, didn’t even hint at that.
It is a long story, perhaps you might enjoy reading the account in Genesis.
The most significant thing to happen in the 20th Century was the rebirth of The State
        of Israel.
If you look at the deed in Genesis, God gave the land to Abraham and his descendants. God punished them after continual disobedience/rebellion by allowing other Nations to defeat then through invasions, with the last being the Romans in AD 70.
The scriptures indicate that God chose The Hebrews not because they were many, or skin color, more beautiful, but that he loved them, So comes the “Chosen People” Title.
Interesting situation here Idiotbox, I do not know of another Culture that for nearly 2,000 years, without a homeland, flag, land that has been able to keep its traditions alive and come together and function as if they never had been apart!
Do your own research but according to the deed, no man has the right to divide the land.
The kick butt God back? He might be, and he might not be happy with the proposed two-state solution that the world is trying to imposed on his land.

First of all, God chose Israel. Who are we to question the potter on why he picked the Jews. The Jews have a reckoning with the LORD, but it is none of our accord. God is Love, it is man’s interpretation of him that is the problem. He hates the sin, not the people. I would need a week to explain to you about the sacrifices…that is so superficial and the meanings behind it are soooo, soooo deep. Order the CD called “What about the sacrifices” by First Fruits of Zion to barely touch the surface about the sacrifices. There are so many mysteries of God . His thinking is not our thinking. His ways are just and are not our “fleshly ways”. We are to learn his ways and live it. It is a wonderful life with a heart that is Peace filled, Jesus is the prime example of what God is – Love. Once you come to know him, he instructs the person about sin. Even if you don’t know him, if I were you I would put yourself in default and align with Israel – for safety’s sake.

Peoples actions speak for themselves, please don’t assume that the rest of the human race is blind to the violence and destruction Israel has caused, in the age of the internet we have seen it with our own eyes. You choose to believe your actions are justified by God, possibly even orchestrated, if you honestly believe that, then the concept of the real God is lost to you, love one another is not a negotiation there are no conditions to unconditional love.

Israeli airstrike targets Gaza after multiple attacks

Jerusalem (CNN) — Thursday’s coordinated attack on Israeli soldiers and civilians, the deadliest in more than two years, spawned reprisal, rhetoric and questions over security in neighboring Egypt.

Israel’s military said it launched an airstrike against militants in Gaza on Thursday, hours after a string of bold attacks on buses, civilian vehicles and soldiers left seven Israelis dead in the southern part of the country.

Israeli police said an eighth Israeli, a special operations officer, was killed late Thursday in fighting with Sinai border infiltrators.

“We all witnessed today an attempt to escalate the terrorist war against Israel by launching of attacks from the Sinai,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. “If there is someone who thinks that the state of Israel will let this pass, he is mistaken.”

Israel is not what it was in the days of true spirituality. They are equally responsible for pain and suffering on to god’s children. The only people that God will favor are the civilians, the normal people from all over the world who chose not to cast harm onto one another. Wake up from your judgements, the world elite could easily bring about peace and exceptance of one another but they chose to create enemies from neighbouring countries to maintain rule and control. We are encouraged to hate and discriminate against one another. Wake up, Israel’s hand in all this goes deep.

Few days ago they had civil unrest, now they are united again. All a game and set up with Arabs in order to maintain their game. I don’t buy any of it.

When a day comes and a country steps up and says let’s achieve peace and actually achieves it that’s when I will be proud of the human race.

Don’t hate Israel’s or Arabs or any other race, begin the peace process from the self by thought and emotion.

We can have world peace and share each others resources, by simply believing it is possible, put an end to hate and love one another instead.

And everyone respects everyone else, whether they believe in something or not. I would pray that religious beliefs and interpretations are not censored. Because if it were censored, which religious interpretation would it be? Christianity, New Age, Hindu, Buddhism? If you begin censoring one persons belief or interpretation, you start censoring us all, because it wouldn’t stop.

      • I think what resonates in everyone’s spirit is even more important than beliefs. That said, all of us, individually, are on a spiritual journey through the greatest crisis this planet has ever seen and whatever one has inside one that it’s going to take to get through this crisis, then count it as an asset. Usually in trouble, the anticipation of disaster is worst than the reality but this is not true of the ordeal before us. The psychological burdens each will be called to bear will be nigh unbearable for even the most resolute soul. No one person’s journey on a planet of 7 billion should be expected to be the same. We should not let the fire before us wither to ambers arguing over who’s holding what types of logs.

        peace and love to all,
        Alvin

It is a place where all people of different faiths and beliefs come together toward a common purpose. We should respect all points of view even when they are different than ours. Terry, if you really look at all the comments here, you will see we are all saying the same thing – just differently. If only the rest of the world could follow the model of how communication is conducted on this website. We wouldn’t be in the predicament we are in right now.

This terror strike does not help the peace process.
On September 20th 2011, The Palestinian Declaration of Statehood is supposed to be presented to the UN. In my opinion, nothing will change but the creation of another state based on the continual terror strikes. I would think that the Arabs would be pleased to have a place for the
Palestinians who have been displaced, by their own choice, since 1948.
ABBAS, the Palestinian President, has made a petition to the UN that all Jewish Settlements be removed from their State once recognized and that US/NATO Forces be provided for security on the West Bank. Earlier this year, the person who occupies the oval office, offered a 7 year lease plan for land in that Israel would surrender the Jordan valley which includes the area of Tiberas down to Eilat, Israel and a piece of land in Jordan. Also offered was the return to 1947 borders and no right of return issue for the Palestinians. I don’t think that went well. Oh well, September is coming!
