Second 6 + magnitude earthquake strikes near Sendai Japan in 24 hours

July 24, 2011SENDAIThe second large earthquake has struck off the coast of Japan in 24 hours. The latest earthquake measured by the USGS was a 6.2 magnitude and had about a 1 km shallower depth than the 6.4 magnitude earthquake which struck near the same region on Saturday. Seismologists have long feared that the seismic stress of aftershocks from the March 9.0 earthquake was not diffusing properly along the plate boundary- pointing to increased instability and the potential for the increased risks of another large earthquake as we have also stated. No tsunami warnings were issued with the latest quake.  –The Extinction Protocol

I know there has been many postings regarding this ongoing situation and it’s possible it is about to get worse(Lets hope not). I think it is important to remember that if there is another significant earthquake, then the West Coast of the US may not fair as well as it did from the previous event on March 11th 2011.
    Just a thought.

    Alvin,
Is it possible that all the earthquakes, around Japan, will or have fractured the land mass Japan is resting on? Could this cause the Northern part of Japan to slip into the sea? I think of an enormous mass on concrete being hit by a air hammer over time the mass of concrete will break apart. It would seem such a large fracture would send enormous energy waves around the world. It does seem like birth pains, what is the earth trying to give birth to?

    • Part of the problem with Japan is that it’s geology is troublesome. Like Pan America, New Zealand, San Andreas, East Africa- so many of these heavy populous countries stradle multiple plates. Now, with the planet becoming more kinetic with these earthchanges, all these regions are now high-risk danger zones. I believe the Japanese Islands will eventually break-up and go into the sea but such an event will likely not be triggered by just a large mega-thrust earthquake. Magma has to boil in concert and will probably lead to a volcanic firestorm across the Isles. What we’re seeing for the most part are warnings and the fact that tectonic plate movements are advancing on a geological time-scale.

I know some New Agers hate to hear this but the reality is the planet is not giving birth to anything; it’s deconstructing; reverting back to her pre-Genesis state (without form and void) in anticipation of her recreation. God or nothing else is going to stop this process. That is why I believe there has to be a rescue of the redeemed by the return of Jesus. Without that; there is absolutely no chance of anyone on this planet with a physical material body surviving this as it reaches the final climax. I know this is not apparent now to many but before it’s over; it will be. “The Earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage….it shall fall, and not rise again….And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried…” Is 24:20, Jeremiah 25:33 The prophet Jeremiah sees the Earth broken down and says: “I beheld the Earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void (like Genesis); and the heavens, and they had no light.” Jeremiah 4:23. So ask yourself what happens to the Sun?

Hey Alvin, I think you asked a retorical question, didn’t you? I have no doubt you know the answer to that.

Isaiah 24:23 The moon will be abashed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders, gloriously.

Rev. 21:23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Spot on Alvin. A new heaven and a new earth will be created. This one will continue but, as you say, it wont be a nice place to call home.

So Jesus will come back to rescue? that means all muslims, budhists, hindus, etc will be left to die? Oh isn’t that cosy.

Lol I sometimes have a feeling something big might happen soon but articles on this site make them go away and make me realize its all tinfoil hat stuff.

    • The final judgment is left to God, not Paragorn. Err is what occurrs when we try to apply feeble human reasoning to something beyond the human dimension. Let God separate the wheat from the tares and the pure of heart from the unpure. Our mission is to love and make a difference in the world.

Whether we ridicule the belief or not, it doesn’t alter the science of consequence.
