Israeli Minister says a military strike on Iran may be necessary

May 31, 2011 JERUSALEM – An Israeli Cabinet minister said the civilized world must take joint action to avert the Iranian nuclear threat, including a pre-emptive strike if necessary. Moshe Yaalon — the minister for strategic affairs — made the statement in an interview with Russia’s Interfax news agency released Monday ahead of a visit to Moscow. “We strongly hope that the entire civilized world will come to realize what threat this regime is posing and take joint action to avert the nuclear threat posed by Iran, even if it would be necessary to conduct a pre-emptive strike,” Yaalon was quoted by Interfax as saying. Yaalon wouldn’t discuss who might deal the strike, saying the entire world, not just Israel, must be concerned about the danger posed by a nuclear-armed Iran. “An Iran possessing nuclear weapons would be a threat to the entire civilized world,” he was reported as saying. Yaalon’s spokesman Ofer Harel told The Associated Press later Monday that the minister was repeating Israel’s position that all options are on the table and not calling for anybody to attack Iran. Iran has insisted its nuclear program is peaceful, but the U.S., Israel and many others believe it is cover for developing atomic weapons. –Fox News
What the Bible says: Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in the second chapter of the book of Daniel was the prophecy of the 4 kingdoms of the ancient world which spanned the history of time: Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. These same four kingdoms will also shape the geopolitics of the world prior to its end and will overshadow the 10 kingdom confederacy that will seek the mandate of global worship by economic leverage according to the 13th chapter of the Book of Revelation (as revealed by the 10 toes of the statue). If you look at the four kingdoms today- all are now having an influence on world politics. Babylon (modern day Iraq), Persia (Iran), Greece (leading the EU debt crisis), and Rome (the Vatican, with its goal of global ecumenicalism). But the Bible says “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed…it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” Daniel 2:44.  This same prophecy is repeated in Revelation: “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

This would be an exceptionally stupid mistake. The question is are other nations going to go along because of what MIGHT happen? Or is it Israel showing their fear? To nuke a country ( and I suppose that is what they would like to use) is tantamount to murder, because of what MIGHT happen. To attack an entire country, with innocent population, just to take out a few members of the government, is what they are willing to do. Innocent lives who have no choice but to live in Iran is a holocaust. The people in Iran have no control over what their government does.
And Israel would like the rest of the world in unleashing a nuclear war and to spread even more radiation? Hopefully leaders of other countries will not buy into this suicidal act.

They aren’t going to nuke Iran. It will just be a strike on a nucleair facility like they have done twice in the past:

BZ… you do realise the Bushehr reactor is fueled and nearing operational readiness don’t you? Imagine for a moment the consequences of bombing a fueled reactor and the ensuing spread of radioactive material across a wide area. Just look at Japan the spread of material from there for an idea!
The Israeli leadership is once again crying wolf and expecting others to go fight and die for them. There is no excuse or justification for such an attack. Unfortunately, that has not stopped our crazy “leaders” in the past though. War is good for business, after all!

Nuclear radiation is nuclear radiation as we have seen in Fukishima, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It kills, poisons, causes cancer and birth defects. “That guy coming down the street in the hoodie and his pants hanging down, looks like he could be a gang member. Maybe I should pull out my gun and kill him before he kills me!” We have lost enough lives in Iraq and Pakistan; let it be!

I’m surprised if Israel would take that bait. Iran would love nothing more than Israel to strike first and lose in the court of world opinion.

Why has this been the same story for the last 3-5 years? Interestingly enough the articles on “Iran with nukes and us & isreal want to strike”, all structured the same way? First we are going to strike, who’s going to do it, no one knows, Iran says nuke plants peaceful, others believe different.

Almost every article is structured in a similar format? Is this some special psychological programming? Or is there an event that is actually going to happen….which a strike on Persia (Iran) would be catastrophic.

    Time will tell…

  4. Is it just me or do other people get the feeling of Déjà vu when they read reports such as the one quoted above? I am beginning to think I am living in Groundhog Day, the stories are the exact same with the exception of one letter in the name of the countries involved, an ‘N’ instead of ‘Q’. I think they are just dusting off the same old stories about the nuclear threat from IRAQ circa 2002 – 2003 and replacing IRAQ with IRAN. With public having such a short memory why bother writing new reports; why not recycle the old ones? Recycling is good for the planet, isn’t it? And dropping a few more bombs is good for business isn’t it? I mean dropping million dollar bombs is humanitarian and makes the world a better place! Bombs for Peace! What wise leaders we have! Who but these great peace loving and humanitarian selfless and fearless leaders of the world could have figured out that war is the way to bring peace. We want war, we want war, we want war – this should be the new slogan for the peace movement. John Lennon would have been all for the Vietnam war had he figured out that War is Peace!

What is wrong with Israel preparing to defend herself against a madman who has vowed to wipe her off the world’s map? Israel wants to be able to survive. They don’t realize that the only way they are going to do that is when the Lord returns to help them in the battle of Armageddon, which is something that definitely WILL happen one day. When they finally beat their breast in sorrow and look on Him who they pierced. When they acknowledge He was and is the Messiah, then He will give them victory over all her enemies. (Hosea 5:15)

      Hi Megan Vance,

Preparing to defend oneself is a whole lot different than a pre-emptive strike.

I always shake my head when I hear how dangerous Iran is…after all…they are SURROUNDED by countries with nuclear weapons & they are the ONLY major player in this scenario that DOESN’T have any!

Remember…all is not as it seems.

I do not believe Israel will use WMD’s on the Iranian population. I do not believe there will be a strike against Iran. If it does attack Iran, it will use small tactical nuclear weapons to destroy the plants that are processing material to develop nuclear weapons. There will be civilian deaths since one of the plants is built near a city and a religious structure. All used for propaganda purposes to bring world opinion against Israel. Of course, they will have US help. And the question is “Why tell them you are going to attack?” Plus Russia has given them the world’s top anti-aircraft defense radar/missiles and Russia has their back. Also, remember, Russia is building underground bunkers and it is not for earthquakes. By the way, Iranians are not Arabs, they are Persians.
So, this news article comment made by this minister is dust in the wind.
Also, those of you who follow scripture, Iran(Persia) must march on Israel during the
Ezekiels War in chapter 36-39. If Iran is destroyed by a Israeli/US strike, then God’s
word would be incorrect and we know that that will not happen.
    Just a thought folks.
Thanks Alvin for letting us comment and let freedom ring.

Iran is not among the Psalm 83 War coalition which is not being set into place just as prophesied even though its allies are.

Iran’s alliance is to where if Israel attacks her, then her allies will attack Israel.

There is a reason for their absence in this coming last days war. Perhaps they are taken out of commission by Israel as this article indicates and her allies come to her defense.

Interestingly, Iran is in the alliance with Russia, Turkey, Libya and others in the Gog-Magog War of Ezekiel 38-39 which appears to follow the Psalm 83 War.

Thus, Iran may be seeking retribution for the attack by Israel as this article indicates may happen.

Everything is converging just as G-d’s Word foretold!

First and foremost, Vladimir Putin has stated numerous times that “An attack on Iran will be considered an attack on Russia.” Also, America is the Mountains of Israel, not the tiny little sh*thole in the middle east. The war of Armageddon will see America annihilated by Russia, China and the SCO on 10-10, the same day as the next false flag (using the nuke the neocons stole in 07) as a pretext to invade Iran. You can know it is now by all the chemtrails sprayed every day globally to hide the sign in the heavens, Planet X, which will end the war when it passes around the sun in 2012. You know Alvin, I had watched this when you posted it. I have been consuming so much info over the past 7 months, my mind is reeling.

I am still reading your book and cannot believe all the info, some of which I don’t comprehend as well as I would like. Some of that is due to my lack of knowledge in many areas, but I am learning because of how you elaborate on various subjects.. The other reason is I’m reading when too tired.

This site will the “real time” posts really helps pull it all together and to bring things into perspective. Thanks again.
