Hawaii volcano: Kilauea crater lava lake grows

May 31, 2011HAWAII – A raised lava lake, described by volcano scientists as looking “somewhat like an above-ground swimming pool,” has been building since lava returned to Pu‘u ‘O‘o crater in March, scientists from the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reported. The rim of the raised lava lake was about 30 feet higher than the surrounding crater floor, which was 170 feet below the eastern crater rim as of Wednesday. The rim has been progressively built up by overflows of lava that have cooled and solidified. A few breaches of the fragile upper rim have allowed lava to pour into the surrounding low areas between the crater walls and the perched lake before resealing itself. On Friday, the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory released a time-lapse thermal image of the lava in Pu‘u ‘O‘o, which shows the lava lake forming over the past two months. Lava drained from Pu‘u ‘O‘o on March 5 during the Kamoamoa fissure eruption and remained absent for several weeks. The thermal camera images show the abrupt return of lava to the crater floor on March 26, followed by activity that led to the development of the lava lake. –Star Advertiser

How absolutely beautiful that image is! The volcano looks like a reflection of our Grandfather sun, shimmering, volatile and deadly. I know that the earth changes that are occurring are frightening and incomprehensible, but they are also comforting, too! The awesome power of our Creator is being shown to us daily now and it is good to know that we are in His hands and things will be exactly as they need to be.
My four yr. old grandson and I were driving past a local cemetery when he turned to me and said “in order to begin again , we must die”. I was stunned by his words and I asked him, “Kamryn, what did you just say?”. He looked at me with these ancient, wise eyes and said again “Gramma, in order to begin again, we must die”. When I asked him who told him that, he said “my mother, I just heard her words in my head”. I told him that this was true and I have wondered since then, Alvin, if other children that you or our EP family here on line know, that have been speaking about such things. I am fascinated by the intelligence and wisdom of these little spirits who have chosen to come to us at this time. It is such an honor to live in these times, although extremely difficult emotionally and physically! How do the children in your life fare? Thank you from my heart to yours for the continuation of this site and your willingess to host our extending family. With great admiration and love, Melissa

That’s awesome Mellisa. My youngest son says the most prophetic things. This has been going on for the last 2 years. He will say things that you would find only in Revelation. He is 6.

    Melissa,
My friend has two 3 year old twins – they talk about past lives – he talks about how he slept on a cold floor and didn’t have much food and was abused; she talks about her son – who has a name but I can’t remember it.

    Melissa,
My son when he was 6 told me when we die we get recycled (meaning we come back), and each time we learn something to make us better. I was floored. I never talked about reincarnation or anything like that with him. He is 15, reads the bible, and is spiritual. He is in some ways, old , and wise. He is the youngest child.

Thank you all for telling me of these precious, precocious children. They are such a blessing to live with, but a huge responsibility and a little scary at times. My grandson keeps asking me to bring him to talk with President Obama. He keeps saying that he has something very important to tell him and that he needs me there because he might get shy. I really don’t know what to think or do. He is sooo serious about this that I guess we should write him a letter. I have dictated letters for him before that he wants me to send, and some of the words he tells me are none I have ever heard, but when i look them up on my computer, they turn out to be from other languages, like Italian. I believe there are many old souls who have come to guide us at this time, yet must still enter life as children first. i think the children you have told me about and my Kamryn are some of these souls. Thank you again for sharing your stories, my EP brothers and sisters! You are all in my heart and prayers!

Thank you Alvin, my beautiful, caring brother! I only wish I could help you bear and share the burdens you carry for us all. Your prescience and ability to link disparate events to form the picture we are living is incredible and truly God given. i thank the Creator for leading me to you!

Reminds me of the Nyiragongo lave lake in the Eastern Congo – also a set of dangerous volcanos next to lakes which could emit people-killing gases.
