George Lucas believes world will end in 2012

January 19, 2011 – “Funnyman Seth Rogen was left stunned by a recent encounter with his moviemaking hero George Lucas – because the Star Wars director spent 20 minutes telling him the world would end in 2012. Rogen was left speechless when Lucas and Steven Spielberg joined a movie meeting he was a part of – but the encounter has left him worried his life will be over next year. He recalls, “George Lucas sits down and seriously proceeds to talk for around 25 minutes about how he thinks the world is gonna end in the year 2012, like, for real. He thinks it. “He’s going on about the tectonic plates and all the time Spielberg is, like, rolling his eyes, like, ’My nerdy friend won’t shut up, I’m sorry…’ “I first thought he (Lucas) was joking… and then I totally realized he was serious and then I started thinking, ’If you’re George Lucas and you actually think the world is gonna end in a year, there’s no way you haven’t built a spaceship for yourself… So I asked him… ’ Can I have a seat on it?’ “He claimed he didn’t have a spaceship, but there’s no doubt there’s a Millennium Falcon in a garage somewhere with a pilot just waiting to go… It’s gonna be him and Steven Spielberg and I’ll be blown up like the rest of us.” –Toronto Sun

    Real simple doomsday scenario: a 2012 blizzard. Consider 1) all the record snowfalls of ’10-’11 winter (800 inches at one California ski resort — 66+ feet!), 2) many predictions of an even harsher ’11-’12 winter, 3) continued reduced solar output shown by low sunspot activity. In fact, the majority of world’s glaciers are growing; Antarctic land-ice hs been increasing for 150 years (thus feeding the monster ice shelves that then break off and float away). — Now, then, it’s not hard at all to envision a monster snowfall in the winter of ’12-’13 (think 12/21/2012, now!) that is too thick to melt the following 2013 summer (then another winter), with no melting in the 2014 summer after that (plus another winter), and on and on. Instant Ice Age. Remember, geologists have been telling us for a century that we are at the end of a warm interglacial period (in geological time) amid a very long Ice Age. Not hard to imagine. is it?

      Amen I hear you, I am stressed for my unsaved family and friends but so excited to be on our way home! All of this is in The Book of Revelations. I’m so exasperated by those that completely ignore all of these signs on Earth and the warnings in the Bible. It’s not like we’re making it up, look around! Many blessings to you and yours.

        I believe that some people have spiritual gifts , I know its true because I became aware of mine back in 01 after 9 11 happened . My gift is I have dreams and very quiet thoughts , they are quick messages from the Holy Spirit. I thought that the second coming of Christ was going to happen last year but it didn’t, but just in the last few months I had a strong feeling come back to me that I had in 01 and the feeling was a message that the judgment of God is coming very soon . Its the stuff of the book of Revalations . I think with very good reason that it could happen this year.Its totally up to God when that time is though, Glory be to the Father , its past time to just trust and believe in his son Jesus for those that don’t believe.

    And he had information that the Government won’t give us, then share it with us,

News flash buddy, no one is going to help you or hand you anything. Get your head out of your butt and take a good look at all the signs and evidence around you. If you can’t put two and two together well… don’t be a Big Crying Baby when you wake up and realize that the the paranoid delusional people who have been warning you weren’t so crazy after all.

    God helps those who help themselves. Watch as well as pray. There are signs. Just be prepared. There are people that will help because there are still good people left on this earth. We have to stop being so mean to each other. Nobody is an island. Let’s help each other guys.

    I’ll hop in on that one. I know some get down serious to the bone preppers. They spend hoards of money on their supplies. Unfortunately not everyone has the financial “freeflow” to buy bunkers and gas masks and all the fancy equipment. But there are more things at risk than dehaydrated beef. It’s the knowledge to live without an electrical grid and to produce enough food to cover what you eat ‘in the now’ and what you will need for everyone to eat through an extra hard winter. On top of that is the critical knowledge of medicinal herbs and how to use them. With both of those, you still have the wonderfull issue of finding ways to make clothes for your family, keep them warm, preserve the food, care for the livestock, and all the 1000s of things our pioneer ancestors did by being part of a community, a village, a group supporting each other by taking on jobs that benefitted the many rather than the one.

    It takes a group of people splitting the necessary work to gain survival.

    I may not have gas masks for all the members of my family, or enough canned soup and dried chicken to feed them 10 years, but they hunt, can tan hide fur on, sew clothes, raise stock, plant, harvest, and get both to a root cellar or smokehouse. We know wells and barn building, can milk goats and cows, and make a real nice butter. It isn’t just what you buy, but what you know how to do.

    Being a movie producer gives him the assets, but not the skills for when the things he bought runs out and there is nothing else to buy and you have to make it.

    Your world gets real small, real fast is a situation where you have to “do for yourself.” The cities and large towns where there are people who never set up anything for their families will be deadly. They’ll take what you have in a heartbeat and won’t care one bit to take you out to do it. Their lack of foresight won’t matter, but you having food and them being hungry will. They won’t just want to share, they’ll want to try and pretend nothing has changed and everything is going to be just like it always has been, at your and your children’s expense. People don’t care about their own family these days, do you think they’ll care about yours? Not a chance.

    I look at it this way. If I set my family up as best I can, and nothing happens, fine. I have taught them some good old fashioned skills to teach others. But if it happens and I did nothing, my family will be the ones suffering. I’d rather err on the side of caution than hear my grandchildren cry from hunger.

      That was a most remarkably clear concise and accurate post! Well done! It’s like what I tell people when they questions my faith: if I believe and I’m wrong (I’m not) then I’m out nothing, but if I believe and I’m right then I’ll have gained everything.

    2012 Movies is base on Earths Crust Displacement Theory if that happen and with huge gigantic tsunamis I think living underground is not a good idea…

      It’s been prophesied that in the last days before Christ returns men would hide in the ground to escape the “wrath of the LORD” and beg the ground to cover them up. This is all starting to sound familiar.
