Volcano adding to flood worries in Indonesia

January 4, 2011“A group of residents in in Panggung hamlet, Cangkringan, look at the site of a bridge that collapsed after being hit by mud and debris from the recent eruption of Mount Merapi. Panggung is situated around 14 kilometers from Merapi, the world’s most active volcano. Recent heavy downpours caused the volcanic debris to flood rivers and devastate public facilities in its path.”Jakarta Post
