Earthquake swarms resume near Southern California

December 29, 2010 “Earthquakes are increasing again near the Salton Sea.  The area has had a lull in quakes for quite a while, however it is becoming active again. The USGS states that two near magnitude four quake struck the area on Monday.  These quakes were in a known seismic zone, near the San Andreas Fault. No one can predict earthquakes, however one should always be ready in California. On a side note, a storm system is coming to Southern California after Tuesday. “Examiner
