6 million marine animals die in winter freeze in Bolivia

Spanish – Nature News called the August 7, 2010 marine winter kill of more than 6 million animals something “unprecedented in human history.”  Across the globe, the death toll from these extreme climatic events continues to mount and will soon push the planet into a crisis unseen since its formation.  These extreme weather episodes are further evidence the planet is experiencing a geological extinction event that will soon threaten the life of every creature on the planet.
