Powerful M-Class flare ejected from the Sun – July 2, 2012

July 2, 2012 – SPACE - ALMOST X-FLARE: Big sunspot AR1515 erupted on July 2nd at 10:52 UT, producing an M5.6-class solar flare that almost crossed the threshold into X-territory. A pulse of x-rays and UV radiation from the flare illuminated Earth’s upper atmosphere, producing waves of ionization over Europe. Such waves alter the propagation of low-frequency radio transmissions. The eruption also hurled a CME into space, but not directly toward Earth. The south-traveling cloud could deliver a glancing blow to our planet’s magnetosphere on July 4th or 5th. –Space Weather
   
The M5.6 Solar Flare from earlier today did generate a blob of plasma that looks to be directed mostly towards the south and not towards Earth. -Solar Ham

    Here we go again…another CME. It’s just a matter of time and one of these things are going to fry our electrical grid. Like I said in the other post…..I am heading to the bank to withdraw some money and buy some more food, and water containers, seeds, and then I am coming back to the house and work on my garden.

        Thank you Alvin. I have been watching things and some may not understand the significance these flares are playing into the over all picture. I for one especially after the dual flare in June have decided that these flares do more than just pose a problem to our Electrical Grid. Between Venus and the Flares I believe we have some rough times ahead til 2014. I have revisited the song by Bob Seger Sunspot Baby and all I can say is keep the faith. Poof -Zzzzt Zzzt – Pretty Colors – be attentive.

    As you know, I study the energy levels from the sun and elsewhere and can confirm very high energy levels will peak and strike the magnetosphere on a more constant basis. This is the main reason Obama ordered the top NASA/NOAA officials to the White House a few days ago.

    The quakes / swarms and volcanic activity WILL increase worldwide.

    UPDATE: Solar Activity continues at moderate to high levels. A minor C6 solar flare around Sunspot 1513 was just followed up with yet another M-Class flare around Sunspot 1515. The latest blast peaked at M2.0 and the time of the event was 23:56 UTC.

    USGS censored the 5.4 quake that hit in Tokyo bay today. Almost on the fault line expected to rupture and cause the next big quake. Many people are expecting Japan to have a major quake in the next 2 weeks. (Sorry, I didn’t know where to put this)

    Solar activity was high on Monday with multiple M-Class flares being detected around large Sunspot 1515 located in the southern hemisphere. The solar X-Ray background levels are currently hovering near the C1 level. There will remain the chance for a strong solar flare on Tuesday. – Solarham

    Moderate to High Solar Activity
    Sprawling Sunspot Cluster 1515 is now directly facing the Earth. This region is responsible for generating at least 5 M-Class solar flares within the past few days, including M5.6 and M3.8 events on Monday. So far on Tuesday, numerous C-Class flares have been detected including a C9.0 flare at 17:02 UTC. This region has a Beta-Gamma-Delta magnetic classification and may produce a strong solar flare within the next 24 to 48 hours. So far the Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) output has been directed mostly away from Earth. This could change at any time. – Solarham

    Here in long Beach, CA, our UV index is 11. Last Thursday through Saturday it was 12 according to WeatherBug.com. Extremely high is 11 plus. Yikes! The top of my head is sunburned even though i wear a hat. Namaste.

    Strong Solar Flare + CME
    Solar activity continues at moderate to high levels on Wednesday with an M5.3 Solar Flare at 09:55 UTC followed by an M2.3 at 12:24. The first solar flare did produce a bright Coronal Mass Ejection, however once again it appears to be headed mostly to the south. – Solarham

    I have always believed that the trumpets and the bowls are the same events just from a different perspective. Trumpet 4 says that 1/3 of the sun will go dark( ie: sun spot) the resulting CME’s and radiation streams will wipe out communications and electricity and as stated in Bowl 4 burn men with the sun. 5th trumpet / bowl about beast from pit…. 6th trumpet / bowl about great army over Euphrates gathering for Armageddon….. 7th trumpet / bowl Kingdom of God arrives. Food for thought

    Yet another M-Class flare, however this time it was centered around Sunspot 1513 in the northern hemisphere. The latest event measured M1.8 @ 16:39 UTC.

    M4.7 + M4.6 Flares
    The 4th of July fireworks continue. A moderate solar flare reaching M4.6 peaked at 22:09 UTC Wednesday evening. The source was active Sunspot 1515. Moderate to Strong solar flares are now taking place frequently and there is now an increased chance for a major X-Class solar flare within the next 24-48 hours. Below is an updated list of today’s solar flare events.

    UPDATE: An impulsive solar flare reaching M4.7 was just detected at 03:36 UTC Thursday morning.

      A CME WILL STRIKE THE MAGNETOSPHERE ON THE 7TH/8TH/9TH JULY 2012 AND THERE WILL BE VERY HIGH ENERGY PARTICLES THAT WILL COLLIDE WITH THE CME STRIKE.

    Sunspot 1515 will be rotating out of sight in the next day or so, but… Spaceweather.com has spotted a new sunspot that appears to be rather large as well… here is what they had to say:

    NEW SUNSPOT: A new sunspot is emerging over the sun’s southeastern limb, and it appears to be a big one. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory caught a first glimpse of the spot’s dark cores during the early hours of July 6th:

    Solar activity is already high. The addition of this new active region could boost the chance of flares even more. Check back later today as the sunspot turns more squarely toward Earth, affording a better view of its size and potential for eruptions
    Looks like the sun is starting to become more active in preparation for possible Solar Maximus coming earlier than thought??
