6.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near S. Sandwich Islands

April 17, 2012 – ANTARCTICA – A shallow 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck near the Sandwich Islands around the Scotia tectonic plate. This is the third major 6.0+ magnitude earthquake to strike the planet in 16 hours. The earthquake is only one of the latest in a growing cluster of large quakes to strike the planet along plate boundaries after the massive 8.6 and 8.2 lateral slip-fault quakes off the coast of Sumatra set the entire planet reeling. Today’s 6.2 magnitude quake was rather shallow about 1 to 5 km in depth and is not expected to generate a tsunami. –The Extinction Protocol

    I noticed that when there was an earthquake around Sandwich Island, usually it was responding with a bigger one on north hemisphere… But I guess this pattern doesn’t work anymore or we might have a very big one in 1-2 days… Finally Mother Nature didn’t take a break, so I guess we’re in the last cycle… Ouchhh

    I wonder if all this activity might start to affect magma plumes soon. Twelve major earthquakes in seven days is a lot of vibration through the earth.

    I am hoping it keeps on rolling and doesn’t let up. Hoping this is the prophecy of earthquakes in divers places spoken of in Matthew, Mark and Luke.

    I think the earthquakes we have seen over the past week is just the beginning of what’s to come… Melting ice caps have added so much extra weight that the mid ocean ridges have started to shake frequently which throughs all other faults in to seismicity overload…
