I’ve seen China as a threat for more than 20 years. Everyone continues to trade with them and bolster their military capabilities as a result. WE SHOULD NOT BE IMPORTING GOODS FROM CHINA.

    • Countrygirl says:

That is absolutely correct, Adam. I have never understood why the U.S. feeds this human- rights violating communist country like we do. It is wrong that so many goods that Americans purchase are made in China and so many other foreign countries. There was a time when “Made in the USA” meant something! It has come down to cost…but is it really cheaper to
import? If just one of China’s warheads hits U.S. or an allies’ shores, we have no one to blame but ourselves for helping to provides them with the means and money to do so. However, it seems unlikely that China would choose to do so, considering they literally have a vested interest in this country. Companies need to move their factories and jobs back to America, and maybe then our economy will improve!

It is now a hook in our mouth.

I don’t understand why any country in the world would like to trade with USA, a reckless country with reckless leaders who only run a round the world implementing democracy by war and stealing natural resources. Or why trade with USA, a country that today more looks like a fascist paranoid state. Best of all, half the population still think all is good. I believe you should direct your eyes on your own country. Stop pointing fingers and get your own crap together. Really. Fix your healthcare and school system better..

The issue with China is that they hold much of our debt and if they refuse to buy more or cash in the treasuries they hold which could lead to a depression in the USA. It is like we are being held hostage. I suggest that we cut foreign aid funds, pay off china and get the heck away from her and watch her closely. In regard to Tawain, they will get her and we will only watch….

  2. Gen says:

The same goes for Australia. Australian made goods just can’t compete with the Chinese made. So long as things are tough people will keep buying the cheaper Chinese products to help balance the budget. China are even sending meat and vegetable to NZ where they get onforwarded to Australia and most people don’t realise they are buying goods heavily laced with chemicals.

When the word “Nuclear” appears on any of Alvin’s posts; my stomach churns.
Conflict between countries has been with us, since, well, since countries formed. I see little difference between this, and conflicts between warring clans, in our distant past.
Except then WW1 came along, and our ability to kill each other began to excel. WW2, we got even better at destroying ourselves. And then we discovered the atom. (we never discover anything, all we have is an Ahhh moment, and see how our creator put something together, that was already in existence)
Nuclear weapons are different, yes they kill us, but also the generations to follow us. Our children.
No matter what natural disasters will come our way, our children will have a fighting chance.
With Nuclear warfare, all they will face is deformity, disability, and oblivion.
We, cannot, cannot, ever allow another weapon of this destruction ever to fall on Earth again. Not so much for us, but for those who follow us.
We have no right, to deprive them of the wonder of this beautiful planet, that we experience everyday.
This planet is not ours, its only in our care, while we are on it.

I am starting to fear that our existence could just be a big test, 2012 is going to be a big Shift in Conciseness as small traces of our Consciousness (Our spirit/Sole) Will stick around which is why the earth is not attempting to spare us.. I think each Major landmark in History the ice age, The great flood in the bible. the sinking of Atlantis… In china there are under water city’s that cannot be identified.. People i think we are a test of the next revolution, Maybe if we Can accept this and face the facts and move forward without Throwing Hot potatoes at each other (Which it’s clear our governments are Preparing to do VIA Nuclear Attack..)

    • I don’t believe in a shift in consciousness as New Age ideology calls it. I, however, believe the time before will be extremely challenging and perilious for the human race. We’ll come face to face with real threats to the continuation of life on this planet in dramatic and unprecedented fashion for perhaps the first time in recorded history.

      • Elizabeth says:

I also don’t believe in the consciousness shift, but my mother does. She is sitting around waiting for the cosmos to change her life, instead of making her own changes. I believe we are all capable of this ‘shift’ anytime we want to have it, it’s not going to happen for us. The saying ‘God helps those who help themselves’ can be applied here, ‘The universe helps those who change themselves’, or something to that affect! It really irritates me when my mother talks about these things, she goes on about 2012 changing everybody into better beings spiritually. She is wrong, I feel that deep inside. Stop waiting for God or the cosmos (whatever your belief is) to change things for you, or else you will be waiting for ever. You have to take those steps yourself, and realize that the whole human race will not follow you, not everyone is meant to evolve. Yeah, it sucks, and yes, it means suffering will continue, but waiting for an outside force to make your life better is futile; we all have the tools to make our lives better, and we can affect the lives around us. Life is a test, and some people are going to fail, no aliens or gods or rogue planets are going to make that different. Use your own tools to change the world around you.

  5. As unnerving as natural disasters are, I think I am more concerned (frightened is too strong a word for me) about what man can do.

On the subject of ‘man’ ruling the world versus women, Winston Churchill was once quoted as saying……
……”To jaw jaw is always better than to war war”

Namaste from India. Back in 2007, i met a man on a train who worked for an international organisation overseeing trade at the Bombay stock exchange to prevent fraudulent dealings. He told me 3 things, and he was so sure that he suggested i write them down. 1. Gold will go to $2000/ounce. 2. There will be another great depression followed closely by world war. (He had studied Global economics and the patterns of History) 3.. India will be impacted. He said this is foretold in the holy scriptures. Now it is 2011 and i am watching things unfold especially in the Asian neighborhood around here. Hence i started doing some news search on alternate websites and that is how i come to visit your site regularly.
When i reflect on history and the dividing up of India to create Bangladesh and Pakistan,
i can see it was a “strategic” move for allegiances and wars. India is a very life positive kind of Nation. Hindus don’t believe in heaven or hell, and nobody is waiting for a consciousness shift in 2012 !!! Here consciousness shifts are possible ANY day, especially during auspicious times of holy festivals of which there are plenty. Back to politics – India does need to protect its borders. China is continually creeping into himalayan territory. Better to prevent this with extra troops, than to start war when the incursions have become intolerable. India’s weakness is that collectively and politically, the nation is easily fooled by the Greatness of American Empire. India can be fooled into doing America’s bidding in regard to Pakistan, and land itself in a full scale conflict not of its own making. The other thing about India, the internal economy is strong, and the population growth phenomenal. But more than that, because of the size of the population and the cultural diversity, India cannot be controlled – not within its borders and not by outside influences (NWO)… Unless …mmmm. (back to point 3)
