Recent quakes near Arctic and South of Africa shows a globe reeling under seismic tension

September 5, 2011 – ANTARTICA – The successive event of multiple earthquakes along the Reykjanes Ridge south of Iceland, a 4.9 and three 4.6‘s, and a 4.7 magnitude, and the 5.3 magnitude earthquake that struck south of the continent of Africa lets us know the entire planet is now reeling from an increased amount of tectonic plate stress- particularily along divergent ocean rifts and ridges. A swarm has erupted along the MAR of the Reykjanes Ridge. Massive swells are also simultaneously battering the California, Louisiana, and Northeast coasts of the U.S. from errant storm systems. –The Extinction Protocol

I have begun to follow daily seismic activity thanks to an android app, very much the amateur though. Why is there so much going on? Is it anything to do with the HAARP project in Alaska?

    There are very troubling signs emerging from the Southern hemisphere. However; look at the recent earthquakes we had in Fox Islands Alaska, Argentina, and S.Sandwich Islands- there was a 6.8, 6.7 and a 6.2 event. If you draw a line from Fox Islands, through Argentina to Sandwich Islands; it is practically a straight line that follows the planet’s angular rotation which indicates almost a lurch-like event occurred during rotation on the planet’s western side. Now, there is an inordinate amount of activity in the Southern hemisphere, particularly the South Pacific, which has been growing increasingly more volatile over the last few days. I don’t think we’re at crust destabilization at this juncture, but destabilizing tectonic plate agitation certainly- and that carries its own unique set of inherent risks to the planet.

Not uncommon, sorry. Check the earthquake records globally, there are over 20 every single day of every year, many in the 4.0 range.

You have to look at the long term trend – the Earth has thousands of Earthquakes every year and always has done. I would be more worried about a trigger of eruptions that would cause a spark in large volcanic activity. Economically the world would suffer if jet engine planes were grounded as a result of large ash clouds in the atmosphere. Island nations would be particularly vulnerable in the short term.

hitting on comming solar winds slowing us down would put a lot of stress on the planet …
you also have a cooling off shrinkage.. but like the cockroaches we are we will survive ..

I noticed, looking at lists of historical earthquakes on Wikipedia, that a disproportionate number of major quakes have occurred during the period between the winter solstice and vernal equinox.
With such a small dataset to work with it is difficult to say but…
I wonder if there is a relationship, perhaps to do with gravitational influence of the Sun.
I’m sure that scientists would have noticed any such causal relationship but as of now I can’t find any studies. Nonetheless I am intrigued…
