Newly discovered small asteroid will make close zip past Earth on June 27

June 23, 2011LOS ANGELES  — A newly discovered house-sized asteroid will miss the Earth by less than 17,700 km (11,000 miles) on Monday June 27, 2011. That’s about 23 times closer than the Moon. The size and location of the asteroid, named 2011 MD, should allow observers in certain locations to take a look at the space rock, even with small telescopes. It’s closest approach will be at 13:26 UTC on June 27. According to Skymania, 2011 MD was found just yesterday, June 22, by LINEAR, a pair of robotic telescopes in New Mexico that scan the skies for Near Earth Asteroids. As of now, asteroid 2011 MD is estimated to be between 9 to 45 meters (10 to 50 yards) wide. Dr. Emily Baldwin, of Astronomy Now magazine, said there is no danger of the asteroid hitting Earth, and even if it did enter the atmosphere, an asteroid this size would “mostly burn up in a brilliant fireball, possibly scattering a few meteorites. –Universe Today

I suspect more of these reports as we await on the SUPPOSIVE arrival of PX and the coming of the Pole Shift.

What concerns me is that this asteroid was just discovered yesterday! Its pretty disturbing to know that even with all of our technology we are not able to detect asteroids that are in such close orbit.

    • And it’s only the beginning. The Bible warns there will be many unexpected threats emerging from the skies that will catch the inhabitants of Earth by complete surprise. Notice what Christ prophesied in one of the signs of the End prior to his 2nd coming: “Men’s heart failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the Earth for the powers (plural -multiple celestial objects involved) of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:26. We are moving into a denser region of space and debris fields will be increasing over the next year.

It amazes me Alvin when I read scriptures and they begin to come into focus at the appointed time. I used to be quite arrogant in my interpretation of the Bible and end times but the last few years have been humbling to say the least. I have read the scripture you referenced several times in the past and now at this time it makes so much sense. This is why I think many will reevaluate their views.

As the Earth Changes, prophecy unfolds into a née reality.

Also I’d like to say I am really enjoying your book. It’s a plethora of knowledge and a great work. Interesting to note is the records that have been surpassed ALREADY since you published it. You may have to write an addendum :-) but I have a sneaky feeling that based on the pace we are currently on that you could have extreme difficulty keeping up!

Blessings and Thanks for being a Great Watchman!

      • Yes, I’m working on the 2nd edition update for TEP but you’re right; its a groundwork for the ensuing changes that are unfolding faster than fast. Glad you are enjoying the read. It’s a lot of information to reference for sure. Not a day goes by, I’m now thankful for God’s gift of grace.

        blessings and peace,
        Alvin

      • I agree Alvin, the Bible is being fulfilled daily!
God Bless you and keep up the awesome work you do.
PS: we moved and I can’t find your book, lol. Driving me crazy.

      • Oh no…I hope you find it. I’m sure its tucked away somewhere. Keep me posted….

        God bless,
        Alvin

If “they” actually wanted to tell us whats really going on, we would be expecting much more than space pebbles.

An asteroid only needs to be slightly larger than that to penetrate our atmosphere and hit land with the force of a nuclear explosion ( a la Tunguska). And we only get 5 days notice – if we see it at all!

this is exacly showing us how vulnerable we are it could be any minute at ever time at the day or night

    thanks for the post!!!

Children of GOD We must all watch and pray to Almighty God without ceasing.
Lets watch and pray 24/7 none stop. For this is that time when everyone must learn to keep watch for themselves and not depend on any Astronomers, scientists, Geologist, Space, occean, weather or Government organization etc .
    Thanks Alvin for the updates

“Dark Comets” reminds me of my Nature class in junior high, when my teacher told us that the color you see is the band of light length that is denied of absorption from the object. So if something is supposed to absorb every trace of light and heat, we won’t be able to see it even if it is at the tip of our nose.

Shellee, say a prayer and ask for inspiration where to look for your book. It works for me every time.

Years ago, in the time of bank passbooks, I searched the house looking for mine to no avail. I said a prayer asking for help and was inspired to look in my coat pocket hanging in the wardrobe. There it was.
