June 12, 2011- CHILE – After lying dormant for more than 50 years, a series of rumbling earthquakes signaled the beginnings of this major volcanic eruption. On 4 June, a fissure opened, sending a towering plume of volcanic ash and gas over 10 km high. This image shows the huge plume of sulphur dioxide that spewed from Chile’s Puyehue-Cordón Caulle Volcanic Complex, which lies in the Andes about 600 km south of Santiago. It was generated on 6 June using data from the Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer on the MetOp-A satellite and represents sulphur dioxide concentrations within the full vertical column of atmosphere. As the eruption continued, the image shows how strong winds initially swept the broad plume of sulphur dioxide northwards and then eastwards across Argentina and out over the southern Atlantic Ocean. –Physics.org

Impact: Sulfur dioxide is a major air pollutant and has significant impacts upon human health. In addition, the concentration of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere can influence the habitat suitability for plant communities as well as animal life. Sulfur dioxide emissions are a precursor to acid rain and atmospheric particulates. What impact will this have on marine life in the Atlantic Ocean?

This is off topic but I was just looking at the Earthquake stats for the last 3 days and I counted 14 Quakes off the east coast Of Japan with magnitudes ranging from 4.3 to 5.4. I know there has never been anything like that in our recorded history of those kinds of large aftershocks, especially for this long after a large quake. There must be a really big one coming, but I haven’t seen any posts lately on the what’s going on with the Volcanoes there (maybe I just missed it) but I know awhile back after the big Quake they were acting up. What’s been going on with them recently Alvin?

  About 20 are currently experiencing signs of some degree of unrest since the 9.0 earthquake struck off the east coast of Japan in March of this year. The process that ignites them- basically magma expansion and flow doesn’t recess and they are likely all still being rattled by the increased seismic agitation now gnawing away at the stabilty of the Eastern shore of the Japanese Islands. Did some google-fu and found this link. He’s saying the aftershocks will continue for about a year or so.

“So, the overall trend will be for the majority of these quakes to get smaller and fewer in number. Although aftershocks will likely continue for a year, at least–most will not be felt on land. And of those that are, many will not do additional damage.

But there will be exceptions to the trend and that’s what worries me for the people of Japan. After the Sumatran quake of 2007 the aftershocks got smaller and smaller as is typically the case. Then came a 7.7 magnitude aftershock–3 years later. It lead to more death and destruction.”

I have heard alot letely on how Japan is now sinking, strange glowing lights in the sky suggesting that HAARP has something to do with the quakes. Videos on youtube where you can see the ground moving. Crazy

  Bill, I think the Gakona Alaska site with the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program is an inospheric array that is involved in a variety of programs- some known, some unknown among these are the transmission of ELF waves and inospheric thermal projects. I do not believe an unguarded antennea array system in Nowhere Alaska is responsible for all the disasters in the world many are claiming it is. No one is questioning what Tesla technology is capable of. I’ve read numerous books on the scientist, including Margaret Cheney’s well-written book Tesla: Man out of time, and find many applications for his technology- most of it can be beneficial for humanity- some of it, like any technology, can be weaponized. Russia and China both have similar technology, yet many blame HAARP for disasters even inside America. I can’t help but feel that this bird is not only overdone, but that some of the basting is deliberate..
