Tidal waves hit Fiji’s Coral Coast

May 20, 2011 – FIJI– Huge tidal waves hit Sigatoka and the Coral Coast areas of Fiji this morning strewing debris and fish along the Queen’s Highway and sweeping belongings out to sea. Fiji Under 20 rugby coach Inoke Male told FBC News – the team was training when the tidal waves struck. The team lost belongings such as shoes, towels and clothes. Anwa Khan from Sydney who was driving from Nadi to Suva called FBC News from Sigatoka to say waves have reached the highway which is now strewn with debris. “The water was just coming right on-top of the road so we stopped the car and actually the water spray went right over the car and threw all the rubbish onto the road and went back. There were some fishes on the roads. The villagers have started coming to the road and started picking things. Patches on the roads you can see all the woods, coconuts, logs and coral. All the villages along the coast have water in their backyard.” There has been no confirmation as yet of major damages or injuries but details are still coming in. This appears to be the result of a storm surge.    Fiji Live    –Report by : Elenoa Osborne

      I read about this campaign days ago and still do not understand the CDC’s reasoning behind using it. I worry more about the CDC staff which approved this than I do about such a scenario becoming a reality.

        This is an absolute insult to intelligence. Yes, there are actually “zombies”…the walking dead…here on planet Earth, ( those without a conscience or a soul) but, as usual, the institutions put into place, by ‘the powers that be,’ use this kind of emotional garbage to keep our frequency turned down…..waaaaay down so that we do not evolve.
        They need those minions for the underworld.

        Turn the frequency up and you will not believe the kind of nonsense and garbage that cannot make it through or even register on your radar.

        CDC is an acronym for ‘Change ‘da Channel! {sorry for the slang. : (

I’m convinced a lot of information is put out there for the sole purpose of seeing how far people will run with it.

      From the way I read it, they aren’t entirely serious… “You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency.”
      They slanted “real” and brought it up more than once.

        I am very alarmed by the lack of profundity the majority of the people ( including institutions ) possess. It’s very hard to beleive that anyone experiencing an “emergency” finds any humor in it at all. Hold on…….. I’m going to go ask all those people in Japan how humorous that tsunami was. I’ll be right back………

      This was reported by CNN and many othre main stream media outlets yesterday. All stating it was a “joke” and that the CDC has a sense of humor.

      It’s roaming the internet. Either an underground nuclear ordanance detonation- which we may never know (you’ld also have to wonder about seismicity reports from neighborhng nations though- so this scenario is questionable at best) or someone has akward fingers and questionable motives. Did someone get depth and magnitude mixed up? See USGS listed quake below

    Not sure if anyone believes in Psychics, but Joseph Tittel appears fairly accurate with his predictions for the next 2 years. I have been watching this for quite a while and his site is updated as and when his predictions unfold. Not sure why we can’t all live in in relative harmony with each other, but I suppose whilst there is greed and maleficence in the world there will never be any peace. I do believe that the world needs a huge wake up call,( the people that we put in power, mainly) and with all the catastrophes happening around the world it will take something cataclysmic for people to finally open their eyes, and look at what is important. Hopefully it won’t be too late by then.

    There are definately stories planted just to see how far people will run with it. It’s used as both a distraction from real events and to discredit anyone who is trying to inform or warn others of coming events. It really makes me sad that things like that Camping guys prediction the rapture is coming tomorrow, May 21st gets enormous media attention while the real things happening around the world as posted on this site and a few others goes unnoticed every day. It shows that people are asleep and seemingly happy to stay that way and it also shows that the media has no real interest in keeping us informed. They only want to make money and run fluff pieces that make everyone think life is just “peachy”. We may not have any say left in our fate on this planet but I refuse to be another sheep and not even want to know or try to understand it.

    With regards to the CDC Zombie Preparedness report, I feel we could be amongst “Zombie-like” human beings soon (yes, even worse than the fluoride-heads are now!). Many parts of the world are reporting dangerous radiation readings, I assume caused by the nuclear fallout of Fukushima and others. Will this lead to overwhelming sickness and zombie-like nations?
